I decided to draw Nyx because I like her now :P
My head canon for Nyx. Instead of that foolish concept of "cursing oneself to be young-looking forever" how about cursing oneself to age, but live longer than every other mortal that surrounds you. That's far more disciplinary and dramatic than an uncreative issue-filled piece.
A very interesting pairing I like. Their conversations within the game are just so interesting to me.
What do Charlotte and Nyx do together for fun?
hmmm, I imagine they like baking. Charlotte’s an excellent cook and IIRC, Nyx likes sweets, so it works out for them both!
Nyx also tries to get Charlotte to read books, but they have wildly different tastes–Charlotte likes the violet war stories, while Nyx likes romance stories. Cue lots of friendly debates and book-swapping.

C Support Sarah: Nyx, I was wondering if I could ask you for your assistance. Nyx: With what, child? Sarah:I’m not that much younger than you, you know. Nyx: Do you intend to ask about eternal youth? Nothing but misery lies down that road. Sarah: Heavens no! I do not envy you Nyx. I wish to ask for help with a curse of my own. Nyx: You’ve piqued my interest. Sarah: As you’ve noticed, I’m one of the older people here, and with noble blood. Sarah:It would seem strange that I haven’t been married off yet. Nyx: Yes? Get to the point. Sarah: I’ve been… engaged… several times, and with each engagement something would happen to my would-be-husband. Nyx: Could you be more specific? Sarah: I’m afraid not, it’s different every time, one was killed, another kidnapped, one enlisted into the army, and another had to care for an unexpected child. Nyx: Happenstance. I’m afraid I don’t have a cure for coincidence. Sarah: But for it to happen every time? Nyx: Who knows, maybe some mage conspired to allow you to only marry your soulmate, wouldn’t that be a shame. Sarah: Nyx, I- Nyx: Leave me alone to my reading, child, if I find anything I’ll tell you.
B Support Sarah: Nyx, I was wondering if you had found anything. Nyx: Alas, nothing. Sarah: If you don’t want to look into it, you can just tell me. Nyx: I’m sorry, but what you’ve told me just seems too circumstantial, like I said all coincidence. Sarah: It might be, I suppose, but it doesn’t feel like coincidence. Nyx: My proposal about soulmates may be romantic, but I put little stake in soulmates. Sarah: Then why suggest it? Nyx: I thought it would placate you. Sarah: The thought of that only scared me further. Nyx: Oh? Sarah: The thought that I’ve been tied to someone, that my heart is out of my control is terrifying. Nyx: There’s someone else you love, isn’t there? Someone you can’t have. Sarah: No! I just! I already told you why I can’t put stake in soulmates! Nyx: Here’s the question, are they above or below you? A noble woman marrying up is possible, marrying down, that might require a curse to give them a chance. Sarah: It’s nobody!
A Support Nyx: Sarah, I’ve found something about your curse. Sarah: Really! Nyx this is amazing! Thank you so much. Nyx: I was digging through some records, to see if I could find anything for myself, and I found some records of bribery Sarah: So it wasn’t coincidence! Nyx: But it wasn’t a curse either. Sarah: But what of that man that died? Was there an assassin hired. Nyx: It seems not, merely he was bribed to fake his death, there’s quite a bit of money going to several pockets in these records, all from these Chevois nobles. Sarah: Then, I’m free to have a heart of my own now. Nyx: That’s the hidden pleasure of being in a place like this, bounds of class melt away. Sarah: What about you? Nyx: What about me? Sarah: Does your heart belong to someone else? Nyx: Right now, I’m…pleased to be able to help someone like you. Sarah: I agree, it’s kind of nice to have someone who feels like an older sister, my own sister, she stayed home in Cheve, I’ve missed her a lot. Nyx: I-I’m glad I can easy your burden. Maybe I could teach you more about magic, and we could continue these talks? Sarah: I’d like that.
