The same process was made that night: Letting the Marshall know about it, so he could move some guards to be ready to take action if needed and inform the check points on the Citadel gates about the princess night out. She knew that in the moment the citizens would know about her, all that normality was going to crumble in pieces and the media was going to literally chase her everywhere.
Living out of the citadel was going to be a good diversion for when that came to happen.
For that night, she got ready as normal as possible, she was an insomnian after all and loved that damn black color that suited her too well. But there was a difference that she couldn't ignore and it was the fact that she was really aware of how she felt about Nyx and getting ready was a ritual that needed preparation.
But in the end, it was her just wanting to be as “her” as she could, no fanciness, her rebellious side out in the open, wearing shorts, ankle boots and a blouse without back at all, complementing all that with a biker's jacket she loved so much and had a skull burned on the leather- I'm ready... –announced with a wide smile, as her right hand turned off her room´s light and locked it for safety.
Paranoid of that someone she thought stopped by her room the night before.
All of those dark thoughts flew away when her midnight blue eyes found Nyx´s grey ones and smiled hoping to enjoy that night as much as she wanted beside him, feeling those killer wasps insanely buzz in the pit of her stomach, as they walked down the same way they took always to reach the parking lot and that car.
She took off the jacket in the car and her hands moved to tie her hair on a high ponytail to allow the freshness reach her skin.
Oh boy...
