Tell us a good joke, O Wise Lord
Your O.W.L's.
I am a twenty-three-year-old lady and this O.W.Ls sidequest is bringing back GCSE flashbacks
Owls <3
O.W.L.s are coming
Didn't fail my DADA O.W.L after all. Peeves had just gotten in and messed around with the system. Instead I got Exceeds Expectations so I am happy with that.
Just got 'Outstanding' on my Ancient Runes O.W.L. I am freaking the fuck out.
And the O.W.Ls begin.
I can't believe I actually had my English exam today. It hasn't sunk in. I think I did alright, but I don't want to jinx anything. That's why when my mum asked how it was, I answered, "Fine." She wasn't too happy, she wanted more information. Then my gran phoned to ask how it was and I told her the same. She laughed and said, "Just like your mother." So, ha!, to you mum. Plus, this guys phone went off 4 times. I didn't want to look up, so kept working. Then I heard this loud crash. Apparently one of the teachers had thrown his phone out the room. Sounds like it's pretty much unrepairable. Serves him right. Oh yeah, and by seat number was 101, which is like my Deviantart name, Redhead101. It's little things like that that amuse me. Hope it went well for anyone else who did it today. And good luck for P.E tomorrow! :)
studying outside
Bravada decided to take Harry's advice and study outside. Pulling on a cozy, red sweater and a pair of jeans, she walked out of the girls dormitory. She took a glance out of the Common Room window, a grin creeping up her brown face at the sight of snow. Gathering a few of her books and a soft blanket, she walked out the portrait hole and towards her destination. Most students would go mental first before deciding to go out in the freezing cold to sit near the lake on snow covered grass. But Bravada? She was in the perfect state of mind. She simply sought relaxation and study time. She sat on the blanket under the tree near the Black Lake. The morning sun shone down on her with it's brilliant rays, giving her hair a sort of glowing look. Her books lay sprawled all around her while one lay on her knees as she read with her back against the the tree. Everything was peaceful, exactly how she liked it. She'd start with Divination first, knowing that subject was her weakness academically. Being so consumed by the many things she would have to master for her O.W.L, she was oblivious to the fact that someone was watching her from afar. Finally deciding that Divination was a hopeless cause, she slammed her book close and stretched. Meaning to look back at the castle, she instead met a pair of silver eyes. The tall, brown haired Slytherin was slowly making his way over to the Black Lake. She stared for a moment before sending him a welcoming smile. She watched as he lay his green blanket across from her's and put his books on top in a neat pile. He was in majority of her classes and was known for his slightly vicious demeanor towards many. However, he never uttered a derogatory remark towards her. Regardless of his ways, she treated him as if he were another Gryffindor. "Hello, Henry," she said. He stared at her in surprise, his grey eyes twinkling silver in the morning sun. He blinked before smirking and saying, "Hi Bravada." He sat on his blanket, immediately grabbing his Ancient Ruins book and turning to a a page. She grabbed her Potions book, opening to the page where she left her parchment and quill to mark down a few notes. Bravada could feel his eyes on her face as she wrote down potions she'd practice later. She couldn't help but look up, expecting to meet Henry's eyes, and see his eyes averted on his book. She stared a bit longer and watched that small, familiar smirk creep up his face before he looked up. Without thinking, she threw him a smile. This would be an interesting morning.
