random question of the day for one, many or all of your ocs: do they have any odd habits that they can't shake? have a nice day/night! :)

HEHE IM FINALLY GETTTING AROUND TO THIS!!

Scarlet’s odd habit is that she either braids her hair or bites it. She generally starts to do these two when very stressed or bored.

Noah is constantly moving his leg, which bothers a lot of people he sits beside because it starts shaking their desks.

Josh taps his fingers to the beat of the music a lot. He doesn’t have to be listening to anything, just a simple song stuck in his head will start his fingers taping to the beat.

Levi’s odd habits include biting his nails and constantly pushing his hair back, he always bites his nails but the hair pushing back is usually from stress.

Nathan is known as the hoarder of memories in the group. He will keep every little thing that has meaning to him. You can imagine his room is quite messy because of this.

Lea’s odd habit is that she tends to be a people watcher, but forgets she is watching them so it turns into this awkward eye contact moment, which she quickly gets over cause she is pretty confident in herself.

oak!! hello omfg thank you for this! i’ll answer for zelda :-)

she doesn’t have many true friends at all but i like to think her true friends are jasper and wren!! she loves jasper to pieces and even though i can’t really include him in my story right now because mine & gabe’s times are a bit out of sync, he’s still very dear to her heart! and she hasn’t known wren very long but she feels this instant bond with her! like she could tell her anything and wren would never judge her and go out of her way to look out for her!! :-)

random question of the day! if your ocs had grown up in a different environment, do you think they would've turned out the same? if not, what quality etc. would've been the most different? ♥︎

AAAAAH yeeeey I get one of these today!!

Okay so the first example that comes to mind is Najiyah... Her mothers adopted her from Syria, so to start if that had not happened she would probably be dead now... But aside from that, growing up with two women taught her to disregard societal norms and do what she thinks is right/best. The flip coin of that is that Ogebi was always very sheltering and protective, so Naji never really learned to fend for herself. 

If she had grown up in a different environment, she probably wouldn’t be such an idealist. Which is both a good thing and a bad thing: it’s good because she has very high ethical standards, but it’s bad because it spills into naïveté sometimes. Growing up in a different environment she probably would have had a stronger shell, but less noble motives. 

And then I think Ezra’s environment really influenced him, as well. A sexually abusive relationship is a horrible thing to live through and nobody should have to experience it regardless of their gender or social status. But Ezra grew up very privileged, and his parents always made a point of their children realizing that they were fortunate. In a way it played with Ezra’s mind: he felt like he wasn’t entitled to feeling pain or sorrow because he had it so good in life, so he kept all his troubles with Ariana to himself thinking the people around him would find them puerile (which would have not been the case).

Ironically, if Ezra hadn’t grown up so wealthy, or even if his parents had allowed him to feel entitled instead of humbled him, he may have actually told somebody about what Ariana did to him, instead of keeping it inside him for half a decade.

I want to say thank you to cc creators both in general and with the update. I want to thank you for the patience you have and the skill you have to bless us with beautiful custom items. I want to thank those who don't use pay sites, sharing their work for free. I appreciate and respect those who do use pay sites, making money out of something they're good at and love doing. But most importantly, I want to thank those who make their cc base game compatible. As someone who doesn't own a lot of money and who loves the sims, I cannot explain how much I appreciate those creators in words. I want to thank them for the hard work they put into it for sim lovers like me. And I also appreciate and respect those who decide not to make things bgc because of their comfort levels or opinions about doing so.
