Breakfast in Bed
Tonight I just wasn't feeling the Mexican food at the dining hall. So I made myself a bowl of oatbran-
1/3 cup oat-bran
1/2 cup milk of your choice (I used soy)
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/2 thinly sliced banana
toppings of your choice!
Combine oat-bran, milk, water, chia seeds, and banana in bowl. Stir until well combined. Microwave for two minutes. Add your toppings and enjoy! I topped mine with the other half of the banana, walnuts and cinnamon.
Exactly what I was craving. But, what made this breakfast dinner even better is the fact that I consumed the entire bowl while sitting in bed watching Mad Men on my laptop. I just started the first season! Such a good show, I am hooked!
Don Draper- serious eye candy
Sadly, my blissful dinner of oat-bran and swooning over Don Draper is over. But, before I get back to the books I leave you with two questions...
What's your favorite T.V. show? I think my answer to this question is pretty obvious after this post!
Do you like breakfast for dinner? I am a HUGE fan, breakfast foods are way to good to eat only twice a day!
