cosima and delphines relationship in orphan black is so important to me……… cosima in general means a lot to me because i identify with her so much and really look up to her. it’s like stupid things, like her having glasses and still looking great, her being a scientist and still having fun (and like, if acting goes to shit that’s probably going to be the direction i’ll go in), her being nerdy and not a “sexy-sexy” type of person but still being able to score an amazing girlfriend, etc etc she’s just a good hearted smart cool person and I love her and like, I really love cophine and their relationship!!! I love their love for each other. they deserve each other!!!! So not only does their relationship mean a lot to me because they’re a loving sapphic couple, but also because it gives me hope? Idk. I love it a lot And I’m so glad they exist because like, I often felt really bad about not shipping any w/w couples ??? I barely shipped any and if I did it wasn’t hardcore or anything, and I felt bad because I was afraid I’d be seen as a gay-fetishizing fan girl because !! I shipped plenty of m/m couples!!! And i felt so unsure of myself because i thought, people are going to think I’m lying when I say I’m not straight, or at least that I’m saying that to cover my “lesbophobic” ass (not my words… My anxiety’s). TL;DR: i absolutely love cosima and Cophine gives me hope and assures me that I'm not faking my sexuality
