no one told me that julian and miles spend the entirety of DS9 pining after one another. once miles stops hating julian, they become obsessed with each other to the point of awkward silences where there should’ve been a kiss. it’s to the point that i genuinely believe miles only disliked julian because he found him attractive and he didn’t know what to do with those feelings. their relationship is all angst and pining and then nothing. what the hell were the writers thinking?! either it was on purpose or the writers themselves have some latent gay feelings towards their friends and this is how they processed it.
