The first time I wrote about Prima I said that he was born out of Primus hope's.
But I was definetly wrong, so hear me out!
The firstborn, the oldest, "the one who came before" and the only Prime who spoke directly to the All Father, Prima is Primus faith.
Faith in his actions and in the universe he created by sealing Unicron, faith in his creations to grow, live and create in turn as the ultimate manifestation of free will.
Unlike some of his brothers, Prima takes his role very seriously, trying to help everybot to the best of his abilities through charitable works for the general population. For this reason, he is also one of the most well-known Primes, with the largest public presence and largest active fanbase.
Prima strongly believes in the intrinsic good that exists within every being's spark and, for this same reason, he believes in what he is told.
The problem comes up when someone lies to him.
Prima hates lies.
Lies make him doubt.
Faith simply believes, it doesn't need proofs nor demonstrations.
Faith will overcome all hardship, for it already has everything it needs.
Faith does not ask questions, because to ask is to doubt and Faith does not doubt.
His plan has already been built, all Faith has to do is believe...
To aid him in his role, Primus gifted Prima abilities to ease the connection to others, to better understand them and help them when needed.
However, the most simple way to describe Prima's power would be "area-based emotional manipulation" or, in other words, the power to influence the emotions of others in a certain radius around him.
It also comes with the bonus of perceive others emotions within the effect zone.
It is a passive ability, with adjustable output but which cannot be completely turned off.
For that reason it is extremely important that Prima maintains control over his emotions at all times, purposely numbing them to avoid... accidents.
