My Personal Obey Me takes (some being hot takes)

Diavolo is the Best Character in the entire franchise

Nightbringer Asmo is a wholesome sweetheart and deserves more cards

I’m glad this game focuses on hot guys instead of girls-and I’m a girl

Leviathan has the cutest, most expressive voice clips (and I say this as a Diavolo Stan)

I’m not bothered by DiaLuci or DiaBarb despite not shipping either

I need more Male MC art in my life

Do I have a least favorite brother? Nope. Mammon and Levi are the Best though.

I don’t care about Thirteen because there’s plenty of hot waifus in other games/series

I’m indifferent towards Luke

I love the Nightmare theme in Nightbringer because it reminds me of playing Dance Dance Revolution

Diavolo, Asmo, Simeon and Mammon’s NB songs are the best

Lucifer’s, Beel’s and Barbados’ songs are okay, but the only songs I don’t like are the super slow ones in NB (they don’t work well with Ruri Tunes)

I don't see enough Male MCs. Anywhere.

I love how the Obey Me series welcomes everyone. There aren't any pronouns for the MC in the game. The MC is personified as a gender-neutral sheep. But when you dive into the fandom, pretty much all you can find are female MCs.

And I can safely bet there are some that shun the existence of male MCs because Obey Me's an otome and otomes are 'for girls'.

Guess what? I'm a girl. Well, a 37 yr old woman, but whatever.

And as a woman, I proudly come up with male OCs-or MCs in this case. And I proudly come up with male MCs to love Diavolo because

Diavolo is Babygirl and deserves it

I actually come up with Male MCs for all of my favorites. I tried the one male MC thing and it didn't work because I don't want anyone to be lonely 😢

Hi Obey Me fandom.

This nerd is known as the one and only Courtney, one of the biggest Diavolo Stans on the planet. She’s here to share her thoughts and feelings on the Obey Me series. Why? 

Because she wants friends and has a goal of making five friends by her birthday, June 25th.

So here’s some of her thoughts on things:

Favorite Obey Me character: Diavolo. Duh. Why? Because he has the perfect voice actor, and he’s a breathtakingly adorable, charismatic cinnamon roll that lights up every room he walks into, all the while carrying an excruciatingly immense burden.

Favorite Diavolo gram: Uh all of them in both games 

Best Diavolo card: His Kendo card (currently the best card in the series)

Second favorite Obey Me character: It’s honestly a tie between Asmodeus and Leviathan. Nightbringer Asmodeus is unbelievably wholesome, and Levi is just supremely adorable. 

Random fact: When I first played the OG Obey Me, Diavolo was the first character I added to my Home Screen. Why? Because his arms were outstretched, unlike the arms of the other characters.

What game do I think is better: the OG Obey Me or Nightbringer? Nightbringer. I love the menu design, the Nightmare theme and the menu theme song ‘Home Sweet Home’.

What don’t I like about Nightbringer? Lonely Devil events are kinda too short? But then I don’t remember if that’s how it is in the OG either so LMAO. That and the MC is kind of flat, but then that just leaves room for our imaginations 🤣
