I'M SO GLAD i FOUND SOMEONE ELSE WHO REALISES GATISS IS PROBABLY RESPONSIBLE FOR A LOT OF SHERLOCK'S FLAWS. everyone wants to go on about moffat but I've seen gatiss' doctor who episodes, he doesn't seem to know what to do with female characters. Also he peaked with phantasmagoria and then just wrote the same story a bunch of times. This isn't hate it's just something I've had bottled up for way too long lmao

oh yeah he REALLY isnt all he thinks he is and gets away with far too much. let’s not forget his work on both league of gentlemen and little britain

Dalek (the episode) is really weird because it's both a really really good episode but it's also absolutely nothing compared to what rob shearman is capable of writing. Like how do you go from those absurdist horror audio dramas to a 90s militaryish story? It's not even bad it's just wheeeere is the absurdism

at one point he said in an interview that all of his stuff starts out as comedies and had the (short) episode the interview was attached to been half an hour longer he would have started ‘pulling out the butcher knives” or something to that effect. what i’m saying is i wish he would have got the chance to write a two parter

Eighth doctor for the headcanon thing? I found out recently that I'm still big finish trash...

God, it’s been so long since I’ve listened to an audio, but I will always and forever be Eight trash.

1: sexuality headcanon: They are ace AF. They love being super romantic and kiss their companions, but they won’t go any farther than maybe cuddling.2: otp: Eight/Charley. It’s been so long that I’ve thought about them, but I will always always always love that ship. I think that might have been the first really big ship that I ever had, that I like wrote stuff for and such. I have not listened to an audio in jeez, probably about a year now, but I’m willing to start back up cause I have yet to listen to Charley’s standalone series. Oh and also, Eight/Charley/C’Rizz is my shit. I love that platonic OT3.3: brotp: Eight and Lucie. I never did finish her audios, but from what I heard, they were so wonderful together. I just really love Lucie and she managed to keep them in line and keep them alive (for the most part). Not even just that, they were just really good mates and had wonderful chemistry.4: notp: Ummmm, Eight/Chang Lee??? Idk, that was the first thing that came to mind. I don’t think I could ever see them as a couple.5: first headcanon that pops into my head: After long adventures, Eight, Charley and C’Rizz will retreat to the butterfly room and just relax and cuddle together. Eight and Charley like the actual cuddles, C’Rizz likes their body heat.6: favorite line from this character: Ooh so many. (Paraphrasing) “I will use my great Time Lord ability of looking out the window!” “I demand to die naked!”  “I’m hoping it might annoy somebody. You can find out a lot by being annoying.” and the ever famous “These shoes! They fit perfectly!” There’s so many.7: one way in which I relate to this character: Forgetful queer mess8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: When they talk to much and then realize they have the whole situation wrong. Just... shush. 9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: The latter, definitely. The Doctor has seen and done some real bad shit. Too many things to list.

american gods had some weird sex stuff, but that was kind of part of the worldbuilding. And aside from the bilquis scene most of the sex was pretty vanilla

I got later it was american gods (which i haven’t seen/read so I can’t really comment on it). i thought initially that maybe someone had posted a bit from like, the problem of susan, or something like that.

She's gorgeous! (ignoring the anger her previous owner causes me) I'm not too familiar with cats, so I'm wondering if even if you pick a new name it will have to be M-sounding, or she won't accept/recognise it as her own?

Pretty girl! Congrats! And so wonderful you were able to rescue her. I'd also stick with an M name since she's old enough to be pretty familiar with hers. She could be Dame Maggie? (Sorry, I have no good naming suggestions, but congrats!)

My family has adopted older cats with an unknown past before and they absolutely got used to new names, but yeah, probably going to stick with something vaguely similar.

(”Minnie” is apparently can be the short form for both Hermione and Minerva, either of which would kind of satisfy the fangirl connection... or maybe I’ll just go with Mina pronounced the German way (”Meena”)... Figure it gets easier once I actually know her a bit.)
