Tears
(Ah i’m crying just looking at that gif.)
This is going tho be short
Credence held onto Y/N tears streaming down his face. Y/N was the only person who knew what out was like. You knew his secret and it was yours too.
“It’s going to be okay. I’ll keep you safe.“ Y/N whispered combing her fingers through his hair.
Y/N fought tears needing to be strong for Credence. You needed to be strong for him.
Credence looked up feeling a wet tear.“ Y/N?” He asked.
“I’m sorry I can’t stop.” Y/N said trying to stop the tears.
“No its okay. Let me hold you. You always take care of me and now I’ll take care of you.” Credence told Y/N pulling her close to his chest.
I’m take requests for fantastic beasts everyone
CREDENCE 😭😭💔
Ariana Dumbledore, based on the recent popular fan theory that she was an obscurus.
Society6
Just wanna say this because lots of people seem to be making a fuss about it:
Harry James Potter was not an obscurus because he never suppressed his magic.
When Newt talks about Obscurials he says they used to be common in the times of witch hunts and in other circumstances where a child sees magic as bad so consciously or subconsciously suppresses their own magic.
Harry did not know about magic (or at least he didn’t think it was real) so couldn’t suppress it because the Dursley’s lied to him about it’s existence.
However he did use magic accidentally all the time throughout his childhood (his hair growing back when Petunia cut it, jumping an entire storey when running from bullies, THE ZOO etc.).
(Credence is an obscurus because he was told magic was bad so subconsciously suppressed it, Ariana was [probably] an obscurus because she was hurt for using magic so intentionally suppressed.)
TLDR; Harry wasn’t an obscurus because he didn’t stop himself doing magic because he didn’t know it was magic.
OMG DEMENTORS
So a fan commented that the obscurial in fantastic beasts looked like a baby dementor and JKR said she "liked the thought." She refused to confirm or deny its correctness/possibility. BUT WHAT IF SHE USES IT OMG. Dementors don't yet have a birth story/backstory--and because Hagrid doesn't keep one as a pet, I assume they live a long time and have a short, dark childhood (because he generally adopts baby creatures.) Beyond that, FB notes that "there used to be more" obscurials, and after a while they stopped occurring so often, likely with the decline/end of popular witch-hunts. Dementors could have a long or eternal natural life, and HP never talks about how to kill them. If FB's scene of killing the obscurial itself is canon, then it takes immense power to kill one; if an obscurial is a baby dementor, then fully grown dementors would be virtually unkillable. Which would make sense, since HP never talks about how to fully kill a dementor and we can more or less assume it to be impossible. We know that obscurial children die young. But whether the obscurial itself dies is unclear. Spells can work in the absence/death of a wizard, so why couldn't obscurials? Remember, they don't kill Credence in his human form; they strike at the obscurial. They kill the obscurial itself, which may be the only time it can be killed. Obscurial children might not be able to survive if their obscurial is killed, even if the cloud itself is capable of doing so. They're basically a manifestation of a wizards power, aka a major version of a spell. Because it is a major manifestation, basically a part of the child's life and soul, I find it totally possible that obscurials become dementors as they age. TLDR: OBSCURIALS AS BABY DEMENTORS FITS INTO THE HARRY POTTER UNIVERSE LIKE A PERFECT PUZZLE PIECE
