While waiting for MSPA to be not crashed, I am currently doing one of my favorite hobbies: useless math with obscure units. In nuclear physics, there is a unit called a shake. One shake is 10 nanoseconds, and is derived from the expression "two shakes of a lamb's tail". Another unit I found humorous was the beard-second. The beard-second is approximately the time an average beard grows in 1 second, and is equal to 10 nanometers. Therefore, if we put them together, and do some simplification, we can conclude that 1 beard-second/shake is equal to 1 meter per second. I think we can all agree that the beard-second/shake is a much better unit than m/s.
