Why the HELL are they wearing all this Modern AU Gymwear?? Kinda weird, but such a fire intro: Turtleneck Caitlyn looking amazing in that one profile shot, Caitlyn holding her hands above her face in stress and casting a shadow that resembles a crown (ergo ‘Heavy is The Crown’ after her mother’s passing), Vi smearing her tattoo over with black paint, Viktor being Arcane Jesus but holding a very plain and undefined mask, the Violyn bit, Ambessa crushing the Black Rose, JINX WAVING THAT REVOLUTION FLAG AHHHHHHHH, and more.

Caitlyn and Sevika fight?? Most satisfying thing ever. Crush her, Sevika.🦾🦾

Alsoo, rip-off Silco. WHO IS THIS MAN?? DID SILCO STEAL HIS CLOTHES AND DYE THEM EVIL COLOURS?? I need answers. I dub him ‘Piltover!Silco’.

Also want to point out, Silco’s orange iris faded away when he died. He has no left eyelid, as I’ve seen an person say. Instead it’s just a black orb that blends in with the scar. You can see it disappearing during his death, similarly to when Vander “died”, the veins affected by a similar variant of Shimmer across his skin faded.

Jayce looks so stupid and tired here. Thank you Ekko for calling him out on his unethical science experiments. Teach him how to do proper science please, this man cannot think straight with everything he’s been through.

I’ll sort of miss Viktor’s gold eyes, but this constantly changing Arcane Opalescent thingy is soooooooo working for him. I know the Arcane might not be at all directly linked to Glorious Evolution, but all hail the church of the Gloriously Evolved.

Can there be a statue of this in Zaun?? This. This says so much. Vi sees not only what Powder could have been, but HERSELF in this kid. I’ve known a few kids like Isha, and even though she hasn’t spoken a word she’s already such a dear character to me. Amazing representation. It’s so understandable how much she looks up to Jinx, and she herself is a symbol or manifestation of Jinx’s followers (The first Inxes, possibly). She’ll prolly die, but I hope not.

Even his cane’s aura is blue. I love the Arcane Messiah.

True Character

There is or was a quote on tumblr that said "White people do not know black people. Like Black people know white people".

And nothing rings more true today then the current political discourse and talks of activism.

Politics, internet discourse, and even social justice and activism has shown the true character of white people then ever before.

They are still just as racist and misogynistic and will do whatever they can to get as close to calling you a Nigger, monkey or an ape without using those direct words outright.

But there actions will always show it. But more succinctly it will always be directed at Black women more than it would at black men.

And this is why I am personally grateful for my African upbringing that I have only ever been or seen or raised on media(Nollywood) that only black people or in my case Africans.

The current political and gender discourse has enabled and emboldened white people to create micro-identities and cosplay as an oppressed minority while still upholding and weilding all the benefits that come with their whiteness.

And they know this. Nothing has actually changed. Their so called "white guilt" has turned into the ability of white power rebranded under the guise of the new fashion of gender identities.

I have personally seen white liberals and men. Especially the men refer to black women as Niggers, apes and monkeys when they point out their biological sex and the racism that being a black woman is no way comparable to being a trans woman.

Rebranded racism as " black women are and were seen as masculine and have "masculine features" so they too can be misgendered just like trans women".

See how they do that?

Racism with extra steps.

Funny how we have words that distinguish man and woman and boy and girl. But maybe it was white people who taught us our ancient languages and I am sadly mistaken?

White liberals/leftists or democrats are just as racist and misogynistic as the the white supremacists, conservatives and proud boys.

You change nothing about yourself or the racist institutions you have created or benefit from but create made up identities to absolve yourselves of any responsibilities or work.

And that is why I will never trust any of you or call u a friend.

Some peeps see Sansa and Tyrion’s S8 reunion scene as negative and I...don’t?

The conversation makes sense and tries to cover over 4 years of catch up and emotional baggage; if anything, it’s neutral, not negative. I’m not placing shipping war bets here, but there’s plenty to read from not just this scene but from the commentary afterword:

1. There’s tension. Well, there’s tension with the Stark’s too but that doesn’t mean their relationships with one another are doomed. Everybody’s tense. This is GOT.

2. Subtle bonding over Sansa’s snark

3. Tyrion referring to her as his wife and Sansa not denying it. (Could have been interpreted as past tense but meh)

4. Sansa’s “cleverest man” felt like a backhanded compliment / you should be concerned, Tyrion

5. According to the commentary, her main beef is Dany and Tyrion’s connection to Dany. It’s the same angle she’s got going on with Jon.

6. Tyrion also complementing Sansa?? They’re both survivors??

7. It’s just the first episode :)

Bonus: I think Davos Seaworth’s commentary on the 7 Kingdoms being ruled by “a queen and an honorable man” could be foreshadowing, just not with the couple he’s thinking of 😚 And it was said with Tyrion present. Followed by Varys’ “nothing lasts” and the nuclear fission Samwell unleashed toward the end

I think the weird bendy head on the shelf some people have pointed out is a cart for the amusement park rides. rounded front with a face, square back for a person to sit in--it's not very big, but if it was designed for children to ride one per cart, it could work.

Yeah, I could see that. Like you said, it would have to be child-sized; Edgar barely looks like he’d fit in it.
