Not including link so as to not promote this person(s), but if they happen to already be on your subscription list, take a look. 

They’re a bit sneakier than the usual 4chan/voat/fatpeoplehate-generated troll, but after about 10 posts it’s fairly obvious. 

Two big tipoffs for me: 1) They keep characterizing the author as someone who never reads any research and just gets their beliefs from blogs or just “knows” they’re right or wrong. I mean, come on. Even if a blogger’s beliefs are that poorly founded, they’re not going to announce it proudly.  2) The characterization is way, way, way over the top to the point that it turns into a complete mis-characterization in the image of whatever the person(s) writing the blog believes a fat feminist must be like. To see the difference between the fake fat feminist troll afatfeministfriend and a real fat feminist, check out my very real fat feminist co-mod’s blog and the wonderful fatphobiabusters.

Alt-righters would very much like for it to be true that the science of fat bodies as we understand it currently is false, and fat people all to be lazy liars who would be permanently thin if they just did INSERT EASY THINPEOPLE BEHAVIOR HERE. Sadly, long-term diet research and WLS research shows a large amount -- the vast majority in the case of diets -- of people receiving the “treatment” gain back the weight they lost, often with metabolisms that are negatively affected for many years afterwards.

When alt-righters can’t find actual folks in the FA or BP movements who ignore research and are proud of doing so, they have to make one up. Hence, this blog. Block, block, block.
