A truly incidental nothingmuch:
For my mum’s birthday I stumbled across this deliciously vibrant 2nd edition of Agatha Christie’s The Mystery of the Blue Train.
There was a lovely bookmark pattern at the end of my torchon lace workbook I earmarked for her. Lucky for me I had a handful of reels of lovely silk yarn that just so happened to perfectly coordinate with the book. You could almost think I planned it.
Sadly I did not have any reds or pinks in a good weight, but don’t you worry: I made a suitably violent mount to make up for it
the urge to kiss someone and have it mean absolutely nothing romantically
Ruthless (by necessity) Captain Arasha and her deadly crew, who ransack a merchant ship and keep only the survivors who have something to offer for the ship.
Mister Topp knows how to read, write and keep treasury. Mister Evarts was hoping to be a clergyman (probably has a young lady waiting back home) but was making a living as the assistant to the ship's cook. Captain Lalani has no place for christian men in her ship, but a cook will do.
I think some of y'all don't actually like the show you're watching
Claire, my beloathed, stay the frick out of the kitchen
I was just looking through the tags on a reblog of one of the big Buck and Tommy scenes and it’s so sad to see as the weeks go by the tags go from everyone being happy to it being just mainly Tommy fans left. I don’t really know what the point of this is, it just makes me so sad and anxious now that anything new comes out I know it will be swarmed with negativity and discourse. It makes me want to back off even more than I already do, just to protect myself from the second hand cringe of it all.
