Finally posting more about my ocs! Thanks to @the-official-memester for asking about Vicky *checks notes* a month ago (sorry it took so long). Also hi @starryneitz, magical girl aficionado who wanted to hear about these freaks.

The gist of it is that they're horror magical girls (read: sometimes-murderous vigilantes in glittery outfits) in a dark but also very unserious setting. The team is called the Sparkle Body, with 'body' meaning both an group and a literal body, as they're named/themed after different parts. The members are:

Sparkle Blood aka Vicky, the one I said before. As said, she's a leech-adjacent creature piloting a human body, and nobody knows what exactly she is or why she's able to do magic. She's the sweetheart and glass cannon of the team, powerful but rather squishy.

Sparkle Flesh aka Agnes, the bruiser/muscle of the team. She's a 'werewolf' (actually part dog, not wolf) created by a shady organization for shady purposes. She was rescued from this organization as a young child and has no memory from before that day. She has superhuman senses, endurance, and healing factor, but her transformation is painful and draining.

Sparkle Bone aka Gwen, the healer and social backbone (lol) of the team. The closest one to a normal human being here, she's a sorcerer who specializes in both healing magic and necromancy (two of the main magics in this world). The magic has various body-horrorish effects on her body, leaving her largely unable to fight for herself, but she can send out skeletal automatons to support her teammates.

Sparkle Spirit aka Amaia, the main fighter and self-proclaimed leader of the team. Before becoming a magical girl she died multiple times and was revived each time (by Gwen), and so she's skilled at being a ghost (which is a skill that must be learned). The arrangement is that when trouble shows up, Gwen will kill Amaia so she can fight as a ghost (flying, tangibility control, possessing things/people, etc) and just revive her later. Despite her cheery disposition she comes off as stiff and uncanny, dying on a regular basis will do that to you.

The dynamic between the group is still in the works but it's pretty complicated. I don't think it'd be a stretch to call them a polycule.

Their 'mascot', aka the one who gave Amaia the idea to form this team in the first place, is an as-of-yet-unnamed Angel of Justice, who like all angels in this world was created/employed by the Powers That Be, a benevolent but kinda stupid lovecraftian entity.

They don't really have one set nemesis, but given the nature of their world full of cults, mad science creations, zombie-like diseases, unidentifiable creatures crawling out of the sea and falling of the sky, and who knows what else, they could easily have a 'monster of the week' deal.
