💪 : What is your OC’s most physically attractive attribute? 

It's... it's definitely her boobs... I gave her a huge bust size because I had started imagining her in turtle necks and like. That's a whole look. + why not add to Adam's utter torment. It Was Funny to Me

Besides that, she's pretty toned physically. She feels it's important to maintain her physique and combat capabilities (even way before she started having to punch trappers!) so she's got some nicely defined arms and thighs.... (You will never see those tho, she never wears anything that reveals her arms.)

👀 : Does your OC believe they are attractive? Do they use that to their advantage?

She's aware that she's conventionally attractive and she knows that people sometimes stare at her chest and lose track of their thoughts. And she does put a lot of effort into her appearance, a very meticulous and curated look, because she has low self esteem. So it's like "I'm aware that I'm attractive to most people but I don't have anything special about me" vibes. She can use her looks to her advantage and probably has in some cases but she'd never be able to be a seductive type or anything. Having the to wear the fancy dress to the auction was already really pushing what she was capable of.

🚲 : Does your OC enjoy playing the field? Or are they more monogamy-minded?

No she hates playing the field 😭 She could never do casual dating or dating apps. It'd probably be healthy if she did but she tells herself she's just too busy! In reality, she'd just lose herself to negative thought spirals. And she tends to have zero romantic or sexual interest in people unless she's already half way in love with them.

To help me design Bethany, I used this picrew.

I knew what hair and eyes I wanted for her, as they're the options I always choose when making my in-game character in Bokumono titles (at least, the ones that let you customise your farmer.)

What I didn't know was what outfit to give her, which was where the picrew came in handy. Seeing what options worked best for her gave me a starting point to work from.

I ultimately decided to combine elements from some of my favourite ingame outfits - the work outfit from Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns and the work outfit from Harvest Moon: A New Beginning. The flower in her hair was a nod to my Stardew Valley farmer as well. And finally, I reimaginged Gray's broach from Story of Seasons:Friends of Mineral Town as a necklace, because I always wished you could wear that ingame.

i got things i should do but i also just really want to flesh out this second book more. Setting is Colorado in the 1890′s.

Maria - recently inherited her father’s land. A young, headstrong woman who wants nothing more than to ride her horse and be with her lover, the daughter of the local general store owner.

Tomás - Horse wrangler, big and burly with a heart of gold which he wears on his sleeve. Will always fight for the underdog and has endless patience. Is the main go to man for newbies and nervous folk.

Bethany - aforementioned lover of Maria. Kind and gentle, but goes off like a firecracker if you get on her bad side. Wants to own her own store one day with Maria somewhere new.

Daniel - young and a little jaded, left home young to avoid marriage. Gets in more fights than he should, tends to play down his own feelings and is slow to trust. Immediately crushes on big soft Tomás. Also - t r a n s.

There will be miscellaneous side characters and a “bad guy” - I need to get him sorted too.
