Last night I drew a sapphire fusion and this is Coco, my idea for one of the components, she's a brown sapphire and my idea was that like she hides out as a ruby or as some other type of guard or soldier. She's in some way like a rebel or an outcast, and green sapphire winds up sheltering her which leads to them eventually fusing but I don't have her whole story figured out yet and idk exactly why she'd be hiding out or why she would be considered off color when sapphires are so respected for the future vision on society. Maybe there's like a problem with it?? Idk

I put Coco on the freezer and leave it there for days.

Every once in a while I'd open the freezer to see it's hopeful expression, only to grab something else and close it again

Warning: Hypothermia, wing whump, tiny whumpee.

Occasionally you will hear Coco crying out for you from inside the freezer, but otherwise, it makes no sound. It's wings are practically frozen within a couple of hours and It's body has gone numb, meaning it couldn't escape quick enough to even try.

So, it doesn't.

Every time it hears you opening the freezer, it still tries Its hardest to crawl towards the door to greet you, a hopeful smile on Its face and Its arm stretched out. It's too cold to speak, so it simply sits there, hoping this is the day it'll get to leave.

It absolutely shatters Its heart all over again each time you shut the door in Its face again.

By the time you finally bring it out again, you have to scoop it out with your hand because It's so close to being frozen. It can barely move anymore, but still manages to snuggle up to your hand with a tiny sniffle.
