This past Saturday (8/8/15), I was able to go to OC area and try Cauldron Ice Cream. They are located in Santa Ana, and although their selection of flavors are small, it was still difficult for me to make a decision. I ultimately decided to try their Earl Grey and Lavender ice cream with honey drizzle, with a puffle cone. The puffle cone is actually a very popular Hong Kong street food, called Gai Dan Jai. You have to wait about 15-20 minutes to get your fresh puffle, but we didn’t mind! My friends got Rainbow Road, Rose H2O, and another flavor that I cannot currently remember. I think that the rose was too strong for my liking, but I really enjoyed the Earl Grey Lavender. It had such a good balance and it was quite light so i didn’t feel too full. I would definitely go again to try their other flavors! They also use liquid nitrogen to make your ice cream, so you know that your ice cream was made especially for you! :)
