(she’s unintentionally inconsiderate due to her seeming lack of empathy and her difficulty with feeling and understanding emotions. also she almost never talks and when she does her voice is a monotone so she can come off as cold and apathetic)
Tfw you’re working on a chapter for a story that you finally got inspiration for and you end up revealing a lot more about yourself then you intended.
And then you realize that it’s a great plot for your OC’s character development.

If so, what are they?They tend to sigh and hum a lot while talking; and when she’s usually just circling around the questions and trying to make you look like a fool, it can get a bit annoying. 4. Control and power definitely, though she can be very patient when wanting something. Also sex. 11. What are their intellectual shortcomings?
She’s very intelligent and able to shift things around but... she can very easily misjudge another’s intelligent and think that they are the boss in every situation. Overly cocky and -confident, too. She also doesn’t play well with real feelings and with caring, so she also thinks they are just something to slow her down; and like we all know, sometimes feelings are the most powerful thing we have.
12. At least one thing that they tend to overreact to.She really hates being wet. Her looks have to be spotless or she throws a fit. Also she turns overly cold if someone doesn’t like her singing - or tries to be better at it.

Arithmetic. It mightsound funny but she was never very good at it. She's always reading,always striving to learn something new but ask her to calculate theingredients needed for a potion, tonic or grenade and she's going tohave to get out an abacus.
15. How mightthey be ignorant or prejudiced?
She was educated by theChantry so everything she knows, everything she believes has been filteredthrough their teachings. She's always courteous and tries to keep anopen mind but meeting and working with an elven apostate, a Qunari spy, a spirit, aTevinter mage makes her wary. She was taught they are to be feared.She's willing to give them a chance and she does realise prettyquickly the things she was taught were not universal truths but thereis still that moment where she is unsure if she can trust them, if she should trust them.

1. What is onething others might find intolerable about them?
Excessive niceness.Honestly, I don't know how anyone puts up with it! Especially Varric.He couldn't stand Choir Boy, how does he put up with Evie!? Evieis very much a kill them with kindness type of girl and that can bepretty annoying sometimes.
2. Do they haveany annoying quirks? If so, what are they?
Lip biting/chewing.Whenever she's doing anything that requires any sort of concentrationshe is knawing on her bottom lip. She also does it when she's nervousor shy or scared. Basically if she's not talking, her lip is betweenher teeth.
20. What is aself-inflicted misery of theirs? (i.e. something they perpetuatethemselves)
Her fear of her magic.She obsesses about what her magic means, how people view her becauseof it. She has moments where she imagines what her life would havebeen like if she had grown up outside of the Circle, not a Mage but atrue noblewoman. She loves her life as it is but she is plagued bywhat-ifs and those what-ifs hurt her more than any blade or spellever could.

OC Flaws
7. What is the biggest mistake they’ve ever made?
Maybe not a mistake but not fighting to help during the Ostwick Circle's rebellion. While others fought and died she stayed locked in her room. I guess it's more of a regret but she feels like she could have made a difference, saved lives if she hadn't allowed herself to be kept safe while others sacrificed themselves.
12. At least onething that they tend to overreact to.
I really tried to thinkof a deeper answer for this one but all I could think of was flowers.She will always overreact if you mess with her garden. She grew thoseplants from seeds, she spent hours upon hours out there tending tothem, watering them, talking to them. She takes pride in the fact thatshe made something from almost nothing. Just don't mess with Evie'sgarden unless you have a very, very good reason.
19. Is thereanything they refuse to budge on? What are they stubborn about?
If there is a way to dosomething, get something without hurting, deceiving, and/or killingshe will always take that option. Even if it's longer, harder or morecostly. Nothing is worth more than preserving the lives of others.

3. Name one of more of their bad habits.
Dusty has a habit of biting his nails.....hand and toe.
7. What is the biggest mistake they've ever made?
Dusty once fell asleep at the wheel of a thresher. His family lost three cows.
14. Is there anything they are too optimistic about?
Humanity. Dusty believes anyone can be redeemed, no matter their sins.
19. Is there anything they refuse to budge on? What are they stubborn about?
His belief in God. No one will ever sway him from his faith.
20. What is a self-inflicted misery of theirs? (i.e. something they perpetuate themselves)
Dusty is pretty much the epitome of county hick. The only things he's missing are the flannel shirt, straw hat (with matching straw stalk hanging from his mouth, and overalls.
