OKAY LET'S DO THIS

Okay for C we have: Corbin!

Corbin is (kinda/pretty much/absolutely is) a self-insert Resident Evil OC!

He was a Rear Security member of STARS. And bear with me, as I'm not the one who knows all the Resident Evil lore, but I still love him. He contracts the virus and ends up (against his better nature (jk I love this)) having to hide out and receive help from an Umbrella scientist, who is a friend of mine's OC!

For A, we have: .....Oh God, have I managed to NEVER use an A name??? I... can't find any OCs with an A name. I have two Us but not A, how.....

And for S, the man of the hour: Sarven Birchblossom.

Sarven was one of my latest D&D characters whose campaign JUST ended a week or so ago. He is a Bison-Build Firbolg, Druid, Circle of Geomancy. He was a geology professor in our campaign's main college. Unfortunately, in the final session, he succumbed to necrotic damage in the final fight. He is remembered fondly, and has been my favorite D&D character to date.

Starting with J, we have: Jærëy (Pro. Jerry)!

Jærëy is an older D&D OC of mine, and he was a selectively mute dragorn paladin, who was based off an eastern dragon! He is a blue dragon, and I'm sad that I never really made a reference for him 😔.

He was partners with a friend's character, and they had a raccoon (long story).

He also has a snake as a pet, that he often likes to "have conversations with" (the snake can't respond, but can understand him).

I kinda miss him 🥺

I suppose I can forgive you this time, provided this scraggly white beard I’ve grown in your absence doesn’t wrap itself around my neck and choke me to death in my sleep first.

Anyway, Emma had Eynon send out some of my other alchemy texts from Starkhaven, which will hopefully have arrived by the time you do.  Bring what you found by and we’ll figure them out.  But, if you see one with groups of three leaves that look like those weird serrated spoons I’ve seen Orlesians use to eat that foul-tasting fruit they all seem to love so much, don’t bring those back!  You remember what happened last time.

Andaran atish'an lethallin. Maybe you do not remember me nor know about me. I was part of clan Lavellan until I was recruited by the Grey Wardens of Ferelden, shortly after the blight. Due to this, I was asked by my Warden-Commander to write this letter; though I know it was more because she isn’t good doing this sort of things.

The past time was a tough one for us all. With our Commander absent in a mission, our hopes were fading quickly. We lost a few of our brothers and sisters in this madness, even with the Warden-Constable trying to keep us in line. And if is not for your help and the Inquisition, I’m sure we all could went mad by this false calling. But enough of those dark thoughts. I’m writing this to thank you, not to make you feel bad for the ones lost in battle. In death, sacrifice. We all know this.

Our Commander returned not a week ago, with the news of what happened at Adamant, and the task of rebuild our order once again. But she wants you to know that, if you have the need of our blades, we are ready to travel to Skyhold and join the others in there; whole we all have a life debt to you.

With our most sincere gratitude and hoping this letter finds you well. Warden Tharine Lavellan in behalf of Warden-Commander Aaren Amell, Hero of Ferelden.

If you have problems with some Wardens, don’t hesitate in send them to us! I’m sure Constable Cousland will be happy to put them back in line. He’s pretty scary when he’s mad. And he’s mad all the time. Warden Amell.

Unfortunately, my memory of that time is rather... faded. I was still quite young during the fifth blight, and more interested in running through the woodlands and getting stuck in trees than paying attention to the important things occurring in the world. Funny, how quickly things can change! Sadly I do not remember you, but it is still wonderful to hear from a fellow clanmate. It was one of my greatest honours to be able to assist the Wardens. Every group has its troubles, but the Wardens had been dealt the harshest of blows, both recently and in the past. Many are quick to forget what the Hero of Ferelden and her companions did for us all during the fifth blight, but the Inquisition has not. I am... glad to hear you do not blame me for the losses at Adamant. Many Wardens did not make it, and it is something I still deeply regret. It is a weight off my shoulders to hear those kind words from you, and I thank you for them. I will certainly keep in mind your offer for assistance in the battle that will surely come against Corypheus. But for now, I only hope that you are able to rebuild your ranks, and overcome the trials set against you after what happened at Adamant. I am glad the Warden-Commander has returned. This has been a trial for us all, but most of all the Grey Wardens. Although, I ask that you do not feel indebted to me. After all, it was a Grey Warden who saved us all from the fifth blight. Consider the Inquisition’s actions at Adamant... a repayment. Now we are even. I will be sure to notify you if I happen across any of your order who are behaving... ah... problematically.

Ashanna, to the void with your clan, you are now a part of mine, as we are of the same People. Our halla would love you as would everyone else. The path you choose will always be your own, lethallan. (Not to mention we have an excellent herbalist, if you catch my meaning.) Dareth shiral, ma falon, and give Sera a hug for me, Telahn.

Ma’falon, your words are kinder than I anticipated and I thank you for taking the time to send them to me. My path is not easy, but it is one of my own choosing and you are right to remind me of that. 

I have some…matters that require my attention, but it brings me a great amount of comfort knowing I still have a place among kin. I shall be sure to visit next time my travels bring me into your part of the woods once more, and we can sample your herbalist’s wares together. 

I did give Sera a hug on your behalf, though her response has language I won’t repeat in this letter.

Ah, I trust you enjoyed your trip to Frostback Basin; I found the region to be quite beautiful and wish I could have enjoyed the sights more, if not for some troubling matters I had to attend to while there last. How fortunate that you were able to join some of local Avvar on a hunt; I imagine it to be quite exhilarating to be among hunters of skill that rivals our kin.

As to your question about missing Clan Lavellan, I-

It seems to be difficult for me to put it in words, so I will just say this: there was a particular comfort that I enjoyed in the clan that I did not truly appreciate until I was no longer a part of it. And you are correct, I am still Dalish, despite what some of my former clan members may think of me these days.

But to answer your question, I do miss my halla herd. They were my friends for many years and I hope Melya is taking proper care of them.

Our agents forwarded me a rather distressing report--something about you suggesting golden halla milk would produce a most excellent cheese? As a Dalish, I’m sure I needn’t *remind* you of the cultural *significance* of Hanal’ghilan or the *importance* of securing this clan’s support. Fear not, my intrepid Dalish liason! I have this perfectly under control. Did you not hear - I am a regular savant! A miracle made flesh, able to wave between our rather standoffish lattice of clans and bring them all together in harmony and shared enthusiasm for our cause! 

Okay I mean, sure there was the golden-halla-cheese-thing but that was one incident. Oh, and that thing with the sacred tree. And eating the silver fruit that only bloomed once a year on the eclipse. And using the Keeper’s prized collection of Ironbark for kindling… but like, those were isolated incidents and I totally made it work in the end. Sure, they didn’t want to ally with us, per say, but they also didn’t try to kill us while we fled under the cover of darkness! I think that means we’re still good for future negotiations, right? 

But really - relax! I’ve got this. I mean, sure, Bull got his horn caught in the sail of one of their Clan’s aravels, and might have torn a giant hole in it. But we handled it! Dorian raised one of their fallen hunters to help us gather the necessary materials to repair it, so I think we’re still good. Although, Keeper Hawen wouldn’t see me again today… wow, he must be a busy man!

Dareth shiral, Lethallin - you worry too much! You’ll end up looking like Asha’belannar if you keep this up (what, with all that frowning. I bet you are frowning while you are reading this right now)!

I apologise for the short notice, but I only recently returned from my travels, which were of a rather personal nature. I would like to deeply apologise for the events that occurred at Adamant Fortress, and I wish to discuss the possibility of a personal alliance between myself and my close comrades. Please inform my husband Alistair of my coming. ~ SM

Warden Commander Serona Mahariel,

It brings me great joy to hear that you will be joining us shortly at Skyhold! Your actions during the Fifth Blight are nothing short of legendary, and I am certain your guidance will be invaluable. I hope you did not find the roads too taxing, given the poor weather we have been experiencing lately. Not that you would. I mean, you went to the Deep Roads after all, and as far as roads go, that sounds like an utter nightmare! Not that there’s anything wrong with going there or anything! I mean, it’s a noble thing, heading down there to fight off the Darkspawn like you did and  ((furious scribbles and ink-splotches mark the page where Varlen caught himself rambling))

I hope your travels were not made entirely unpleasant by the sky tearing itself asunder and coughing up demons at random intervals - although I somehow doubt that would bother you too much, given your track-record with the Fade and slaying unnatural things. That being said, what occurred at Adamant Fortress, while... alarming... was in no way a fault of yours. Corypheus is like nothing I have ever seen before. Not that I’ve seem much, mind you. But regardless; he deceived and manipulated the Wardens into doing his bidding, not because they were weak, but because he was strong. Is strong. I admit, the thought of facing him... is terrifying. I am willing to accept any help I can feasibly get, and a personal alliance with the Hero of Ferelden and her staunch allies is one that I intend to grasp with both hands, should you offer it!

I will pass word to Alistair that you will be arriving soon. It is just as well, I think. He could use some good news, after everything that’s happened.
