The operation was successful. The product has been safely extracted, the provider, however, has expired amidst the procedure. How shall we proceed?

“Do you ever feel like you've lost something but don't know what it is?”

“Hm? What brought this on, dear?” Cen asked, looking down at Chuu while she was snuggled up against their chest, their fingers gently combing through her hair in a comforting manner.

“Well... I'm not sure but I can't help but feel like I've lost something. Something important but I don't know what...” Chuu rambled. “Sorry, I'm not making much sense, am I?” Chuu muttered sheepishly, looking away, not meeting Cen's gaze.

Cen only smiled as they gently press a hand against Chuu's cheek, gingerly lifting up her head so that she can meet their gaze. “No, no. It's alright, I can understand you perfectly.” They reassured, their thumb caressing her cheek with care.

Chuu intertwined her hand with Cen's, a smile graced her face as she looks up at them. “Thank you, Cen, and sorry, I shouldn't bother you with my thoughts too much... We should go to sleep, wouldn't want Madame to worry about us.”
