Relationship story: Eunji and Kate met at a college party. At first they were only hooking up, and then they were friends and hooking up, and then they were in love. Their relationship was a rocky one: Kate needed affection and security and Eunji needed to feel like she was free. They lived together for two years in NYC before their abrupt breakup and Eunji’s subsequent impulsive move to Seoul.

When Eunji runs away from her life with Kate and shows up at Incheon Airport, she calls him. He never knew how to turn her down.

She’s in a bar with all her belongings in a backpack when she gets the text from Unknown. She goes to the apartment because she has nowhere else to go, but the sound of Saeyoung’s laugh is the reason she stays.
