{Hope you're doing well despite the idiotic Anons you're dealing with lately}
I wanted to ask about StryoFilm along with North & South as they seem to be a Family Unit now. Do they exchange traditions or at least positive memories of their lives within Russia before everything came crashing down on them? I adore North and South due to their unique nature and the lore surrounding them. They (along with StryoFilm) deserve all the affection in the world for everything that they've gone through.
In addition; Foley, Gaffer, Polaroid, Sawmus (Hehe, Swanmus <3), Komorebi, and Rescue Squad 08 deserve all the affection in the world as well. Maybe some well deserved rest with the absolute anarchy that's going on with the recent episode. P.S to Veisky, I hope you're doing well with said new footage on what happened </3 Here's a little statue of PlungerWoman
Yes, Styrofilm became the official guardian of the Cardinal Twins after a difficult petition for adoption, as the twins belong to an Anti-Astro project that practically makes them the assets of the Khabarovsk Cameraman Division. From that point forward, he was legally and emotionally their new parental unit, taking on the task of raising two war machines. South, in particular, struggled with the transition. His distrust wasn't random — it had been coded into him by sheer trauma. Before and shortly after his conversion, South had endured the brutal treatment from the scientists, human and cameraman alike, and the sight of a white suit or a lab coat was enough to ignite his rage. That memory etched deep into his initial programming that it manifested as a visceral compulsion: to shred anything in white into pieces before it could lay a finger on him or North. And yet, South's aggression had one exception — his twin sister. Even when North chose to wear white herself, South never lunged at her, although he did protest against it. It was as though some hidden directive overrode his hostility whenever it came to her. But the safeguard had limits. The one and only time he lashed out at North was during their first reunion after conversion. Unaware of who was in the detainment chamber with him, South attacked instinctively at the first sight of North, slamming her against the reinforced wall before she reacted. North's retaliation was instantaneous and fierce — she struck him across his head with a force that rattled his entire processor.
Over time, South began to adjust and warm up to Styrofilm — and even Polaroid during their field mission in Russia. The boy eventually found an anchor in Styrofilm. It's worth remembering that North and South are only 14. South's defiance toward authorities and volatility are as much teenage rebellion as they are trauma reflexes. Even so, there are fleeting moments where his facade crumbles — moments when South curls up against Styro to seek comfort, or snicking up Styro's back to tackle him in a playful manner. He chooses to do so only when he's certain no one else is watching.
Styrofilm had sworn to provide the twins not only shelter, but a semblance of freedom and normalcy. He paid close attention to their habits and needs to help them regain control of their own lives after being stripped of agency. Additionally, he earned North and South's respect through forging weapons to their exact expectations and strengths. The aftermath of the Watchman of Doom's and the Duchess's attack had scattered the Cameraman faction like shards of broken glass. The entire headquarters was uprooted overnight. Luckily, Styrofilm and the Cardinal Twins are located at the Cameraman outpost in Khabarovsk, Russia during the attack; Rescue Squad 08, excluding Sawmus and Polaroid who are with the Outpost 51 members, are with Komorebi in Osaka, Japan; Foley and Gaffer are exiled entirely, as Foley recently acquired a ticket to the Pleasure Cruise (original location by @thephonemenarentreal). And lastly, Veisky appreciates your consolation, but nothing can replace his unyielding devotion to the Matriarch.
