AdhFjzfgjx hi Fish :D sorry it took me a hot second but the Rayna lore currently lives in like 4 documents. 10 messages and my mind lmao.

One day I'm gonna have time and just start a webcomic or some shit -

Anyway Rayna is one of my oldest OCs and very much a product of young baby jo looking at all her favorite character tropes and wondering why I couldn't have more women who fit into them. So she's very angry and reluctant to let people get close to her and keeps getting dragged into situations where people care about her and she starts to care about them lol

But! Lore! Rayna is a mercenary captain who's tragic backstory includes the death of her husband and the abduction and supposed killing of her young daughter.

Through a series of misfortunes that vary depending on the document I'm in Rayna ends up leader of a mercenary company that is sometimes directly in service of a neighboring king and sometimes not. Which is where Meja joins and quickly rises through the ranks to become one of Raynas most trusted lieutenants. Meja falls in love with Rayna but Rayna is rather single minded because about that time she comes across an opportunity for vengeance/redemption against those who killed her family.

There's a fair amount of drama, in the actual plot that ensues including at one point Rayna dismissing Meja from the company but the details again are different depending on which version I'm looking at. But eventually they reunite (Rayna finds out Meja is in danger and goes 'oh shit like the only person still alive who cares about me') and Rayna gets to have her 'Oh. Oh.' moment as she and Meja fight off their opponents and then get to be old ladies in love (I picture them being in their mid fifties by this point which isn't super old but it's old for them to be doing what they're doing lol)

So ive been meaning to do this art for like…. Two and a half years

Cause I saw a sign on someones porch that said ‘and old bear and their honey lives here’ and I was like “oh my oc Rayna was bear coded at one point i should draw old women in love”

Neither Meja nor Rayna would be caught dead in these outfits but I decided to just throw them in some basic ass clothes because im lazy

We barely talk about them…I BARELY DRAW LUCIFER 

(Halloween) Give me a ship and I’ll tell you who:

Choses the pumpkin: Rayna will literally want to pick out a big ass pumpkin. Good thing that Lucifer is ALL IN FOR A HUGE PUMPKIN MESS. The only issue is searching for one. Carrying it is no problem when you are a titan shifter.

Carves the pumpkin: Lucifer got this job. Though the two do argue on who should carve the pumpkin. After a long struggle, Rayna let Lucifer do this job.

Gets scared and clings the other in a haunted house: Lucifer does not like anything ghost related stuff. He will make Rayna carry him all the way through. 

Matching costume idea: Both of them. Being a titan shifter is a crazy costume enough. 

Makes a cozy bed-fort to cuddle in: Lucifer is a cuddler, he will make a crazy cozy bed-fort just for the two so they can embrace each other for all night long.

Steal’s the other’s candy: Both. It is rather a deadly battle too.

Accidentally gets lost in a corn maze: Rayna, she will get upset about it too and try to force her way through it. Thus she comes out in a pissy mood. 

Tells spooky stories to scare the other: Rayna loves to scare Lucifer and he does hate it. Though stories aren’t so bad…if it weren’t for some special effects.

Collects cool-looking leaves: Lucifer. So he can cover Rayna with them when she is sleeping. She be waking up to the colors of autumn and will tell Lucifer to “fuck off”. In which he doesn’t. He never does.
