Also! All I could think of while working on this is 'The only difference between a good dog and a bad one is who they're expected to bite' so...

Unfortunately I can't draw dog anthros to save my own life so we have to live with these until either I get better at it or someone else steps in.

Iron Lung AU where Ava and Simon both live and Ava is gonna protect her eye witness because they don't know if the black box made it out.

Miscellaneous thoughts and notes below the cut

Making this AU and shaking my head the whole time so everyone knows I love the tragedy of Iron Lung.

That being said. I want to put Ava in the torture nexus and also I think it'd be fun at some point for the same person who put Simon into the sub in the first place got to look him in the eye and tell him he's getting out alive if it kills her.

Idk who pulls them out of the blood ocean I just know it's not Ava's branch of the COI.

I think its fun if in addition to the blood being Caustic it also just, re-opens old wounds and scars. hence. Ava's scar bleeding again.

Of course Simon doesn't like or trust this situation At All. but hey if Ava's gonna put herself between him and the strangers who dragged them both out of the blood he's ok with that. Almost enough to distract him from the fact that he is yet again in a FUCKING CELL.

Yes this is infinitely funnier if it becomes a bloody mary and one of the people Ava is guard dogging about is Ryland Grace but that crossover is a can of worms I am frankly not ready to open in public. Also as mentioned above I want to Whump Ava which is harder to do when the rescuers have good intentions lol.
