Spork had only just come across the celestial creature a few moments ago. It was midnight- the only time he was able to be out of his disguise out and about, as he could just pass it off as a costume to scare people on- and he was just trying to search for a good spot to sit down and stargaze for a while. He didn’t expect to find a creature that was seemed to be literally made out of stars, though. Yet, he was sure he had seen her somewhere that wasn’t the sky itself, as she joked; something told him it was before he arrived to earth. 

“ Well- do you know about The Irken Empire? Have you ever had first-hand experiences with them, by any chance? “  he hesitantly asks, “ Do you...know me? “ She looked like she had been to many places; perhaps even more that irkens had discovered.

He knows he was only really known as Tallest for a day. However, Spork didn’t know if his species even remembers him, nor what they think about him now. If she knew about them, maybe she could tell him if they still talk about him, and how they are, of course!

[ID: A tiefling with reddish brown skin and dark reddish hair and bright red eyes. They have tall mostly straight up horns that fade into their hair color. Their very long hair is in an elaborate style with some  falling over the middle of their face, a braid to the side, and most of their hair pulled into a messy side bun. They have 3 earrings on their left ear and three golden necklaces of varying lengths. They’re wearing a deep V-neck dark gray shirt that falls off the shoulder and have a dark purple robe hanging off their shoulders. They have a large scar over their right eye and down the side of their face and are smiling mischieviously like they’re about to lie to your face. /end ID]

me contemplating yet another sad pseudo-orphan rogue boy like

okay so following up on this idea liza @actionsurges​ kindly concocted a funky little multiclass and we both designed some kids. I would like to present: the Roguadin (rough draft)

vibes (the most important part, obviously): magpie ghost-in-the-machine kid, sad

11 Phantom Rogue/9 Oath of Vengeance Paladin (but maybe not quite that level breakdown idk I didn’t build out a full character sheet)

variant human just cause that’s what liza went with and feats are sexy (would probably start off with Resilient cause I rolled bad stats lol)

this kid grew up in a penal colony/slum with his mom

urchin background, 3 levels of rogue to get the phantom subclass — lots of death, lots of keeping company with the lonely ghosts, etc

there’s a childhood friend in here who’s a big deal in the criminal underworld that desperate living brings and Rogueadin was sort of on track to being their right hand/the ghost in the shadows

UNTIL

they were rescued (or “rescued” probably; I’m not totally sure how consensual it was) out of a life of crime and squalor by a passing person of some religious order and got some Legitimate Schooling (2 levels of paladin)

there was an upheaval! of some kind!! idk it gets fuzzy in here the point is something happened that led them back to doing ghostly deathly rogue things (illegal) and put them back in touch with their childhood friend, now confirmed Criminal Underworld Guy
