Tora (Revamped)

Name: Tora

Tora is the confident, level-headed captain of the crew. At first glance, one might mistake him for being a friendly and selfless person. It’s an image he put effort into making second-nature. In truth, he cares little for those outside his crew, and only acts friendly to cultivate debts and good relations that can be used for his crew’s own benefit. Not to say he can’t make new friends, just that it rarely happens as quickly as he pretends.

Tora grew up as an orphan in Lvneel. He is half white tiger mink, and knows nothing about his parents. He doesn’t care to find out, either. As far as he’s concerned, the only family he needs is his crew, consisting of his childhood friends. They’re his top priority, and the rest of the world can burn for all he cares.

His devil fruit, the Frost-Frost Fruit, is one of the Paramecia equivalents to Aokiji’s Ice-Ice/Chilly-Chilly Fruit. It allows him to create and manipulate ice, but, as a Paramecia, he can’t physically become ice. He also needs physical contact to actually use his devil fruit powers, so his range is significantly smaller, as well.

“CAPTAIN! Guessy guess what I found!” 

Shiro’s voice is full of mischief and excitement. Tora was immediately suspicious. “What is it?”

He holds up a sharktopusadile hatchling. “I missed one! It's been sitting in my lab all year!” 

“Goddamn it, Shiro.” A long suffering sigh. “You-”

Before he can finish, the scientist tosses it in the Ocean. “And now, she's free!”

He makes a strangling motion. “You! You.” A defeated sigh. Tora walks up to Shiro and bops him on the head. “Nobody had better figure out that you made those things.”

Tora glares at the signs declarating a Father's Day Sale at the market. He looks away and notices his first mate staring sadly at the families walking through the streets. At children cheerfully tugging their fathers along, and dads carrying their kids around.

He reaches over and tugs Hanato closer, pulling him into a hug. “We’ve never needed a father before, and we don't need one now. We have our crew, our family. We don't need them.” He watches contentedly as his crewmate, his brother, smiles at him.

Feral Fuck Pirates Child Version

Tora

10-year-old Tora is small, thin, and confrontational. He lives in an orphanage and spends most of his time on the streets. He has no idea who his parents are, and he doesn't give a shit, since he was dropped off as an infant. His attitude is a lot more aggressive than his older self, and he is viscously protective of the few people he cares about. 

He has a strong dislike for authority figures and nobles, and fully believes that anything the World Government or local authorities say is complete bullshit, including the locally produced story of Liar Noland. He doesn't trust any adults, and will act hostile and suspicious toward them. He dresses in rags.

Hanato

5-year-old Hanato is shy, thin, and downtrodden. He was abandoned 2 years ago, and actively avoids talking about his old family. He lives in the same orphanage as Tora, and follows the other around like a lost puppy. 

He can usually be found clinging to the older orphan and has started seeing him as a role model and brother. He loves collecting and pressing flowers, and usually has a flower crown on hand. He’s even smaller than his older self, and is dressed in rags just like Tora.

Kiza

8-year-old Kiza is angry and clumsy. He lives with his uncle, a sword smith, and has no idea who his parents are. He’s blind and often uses a sword like a walking stick. He insists on stealing swords from his uncle’s shop in order to practice, despite the fact that he’s blind and has no idea what he’s doing. His uncle refuses to teach him how to fight, claiming his blindness makes it pointless.

 He oftenly seeks out Nova to patch him up after he injures himself while training. He is trying to prove everyone wrong about him, and responds with rage whenever someone doubts him. He expects pity or ridicule from everyone, and is always hostile towards them. The only exceptions are his friends, who are the only people he trusts.

Nova

11-year-old Nova is angry and aggressive. The pressure from his family to become a surgeon directly conflicts with his own desire to be a chef, leaving him stressed at all times. He is snarky and will snap at anyone and everyone.

He’s taken to hanging around the slums, where the rest of his future crew live. Being from a wealthy family, this makes him a target for the most of the poor in the area, and he takes out his aggression on such attackers. He dresses in fine clothes, making him stand out amongst his friends.

Shiro

7-year-old Shiro is hyperactive, curious, and enthusiastic. Being raised in Lvneel’s most popular brothel, he is considered property of the brothel’s madame, and he is terrified of what he might be forced into. His mother, a top beri courtesan, is highly sought after and is rarely able to care for him, leaving most of his care to his brother, who already starting working. He has no idea who his father is, and takes after his mother in appearance. 

He covers most of his insecurities and fears with his flamboyant personality, and has recently discovered a love for science. Since he lives in a brothel, he only has clothing typical of a courtesan, and it makes him very self-conscious.
