unsure if this has been asked before but. how do your ocs identify, how would they identify if given the proper terms, and what labels best describe them? i think that the answers to these questions often vary and i'm interested in what they are for the gang

FRANKY

-identifies as a straight guy -would never consider identifying as anything other than a straight guy (would probably avoid calling himself cis bc "why's there gotta be a label for everything") -is, in reality, a bi girl

SONNY

-identifies as a trans lesbian (specifically a tranny dyke) and that is exactly what she is!

DIMI

-identifies as a straight guy -would still consider himself a straight guy with all the terminology at his disposal -is pretty much just a straight guy but he'd maybe touch tips with a buddy if they're both high enough to forget later

LAIKA

-identifies as a bi girl -she's pretty plugged into online queer spaces so she'd honestly play around a lot with different identities and stuff! -is more accurately a pansexual demigirl

ANDRE

-identifies as a straight man -wouldn't really care to elaborate or explore further even with more vocabulary -bisexual daddy

WEST

-identifies as a straight man -actively avoids any circles that could provide him with better and expansive terminology -cis gay man :/

SAMMY

-identifies as a "mostly straight girl" -would get really overwhelmed learning about asexuality and would probably eventually describe herself as demisexual -is an asexual cis girl

NEWF

-would call himself a straight guy if anyone cared to ask -he knows that he is Not a straight guy -i mean same as franky but. different. somehow.

TELL ME ABOUT ANDRE (PLEASE <3)

AHH tysm for asking!! ;-; I am happy to rant about my Horrible Guy

Andre was a regular person who laid down in the woods one day and essentially let an evil fungus take them over. Now he’s mostly dead and the mushrooms are the only thing keeping them alive. The mushrooms are somehow alive even though he only feeds them pizza, Mt Dew, doritos, and alcohol ((and people)). He doesn’t get any real satisfaction from regular food though, they’re just a placebo

They have a small cult that follows them around, and they’re the only people he’d consider his friends (though he wouldn’t admit it). Their end goal is to make their way to Oregon’s Blue Mountains (home of the world’s largest living organism, an Armillaria ostoyae) to try and pull off a ritual that would cause the world to be taken over by fungi. The cult brings Andre people they don’t like so he can Compost them and Andre sells psychedelics he grows to fund the cult’s travels (only really bad things happen if you take them though)

Andre’s end goal is bringing about the mushroom-pacolypse, but he’s selfish and it’s not his first priority. The cult would know this if they ever stopped to ask “Hey why do you keep blowing our Ending the World funds on things that only benefit yourself?” One of his worst fears is that the cult will see through their bullshit and leave them because of that someday, or because they’re all slowly getting corrupted by a fungus, or because Andre frequently lashes out (His least worst fear is death, since they know mushrooms will consume their body and so they'll never die in a way that matters to quote that one shitpost)

Also Andre won’t eat mushrooms. Not for any ideological or biological reasons but because he hates the taste and texture
