wanted to show off my non-cat warriors oc , ridge ! kinda inspired off of midnight , i wanted a non-cat that could speak in multiple animal languages so theres that - adding more like layering to my interp of the wc world , theres more than just cats living in colonies & other animals have their own ways of life . if cats can act more human & live together in their own society , why not other animals ? i basically have been developing my own . . . warrior cat oc world with more than just cats. so ridge serves as communication between animal groups and is pretty much a mediator between these groups , each group has their own mediators ( or even multiple )
#oc#art#oc:ridge#wc#also the groups are all predator animals or at least omnivores#cats & etc depending on where they live are able to learn the language of foxes badgers big cats etc#although uncommon they can learn the language of prey species and vice versa#but its more of predator animals working together to make sure they dont overhunt and even maybe all working together to kill bigger prey -#- that even a whole clan could never achieve on their own like deer#wolves do exist but theyre way shyer and uncommon so its not very easy to learn their language#but basically id like to believe theres just tons of like interpretations these animals have for each other - some may see cats as pests#but it is with their shared diplomacy that they have to work together and try not to assume that every fox/cat/etc you meet is dangerous#they also have their own reputations ; cats are the most religious#foxes are known for more.. engineering id say#while badgers are most known for their wits and ability to withstand tough environments and such#so the main groups coexisting are cats foxes and badgers but other lone animals still exist#idk if i should reblog this to my wc blog#my wc world#< using that tag for now
