Juan’s friend crush, The Volunteer State! Design wise, I changed his nose and gave him brown instead of ginger hair. He also usually goes bald now, or at least a really close shave. Still trying to figure out how to draw beards and bald heads. He’s also got small ears now- I usually don’t pay a ton of attention to ears, besides one or two characters who’ve got rounder/pointier ones, so trying to get into that. His beard wasn’t supposed to be that thick originally, just having a time trying to do it properly so I’m keeping it for now.

Everything else is the same though! He’s still shorter than Juan, not as broad in the shoulders/chest/arms.

TN’s design changed again. OTP Really it was just the nose but it makes him look really different. And I like it! Think we’re finally getting towards a finalized design!

Finally draw TN properly by himself! Name (middle and last tentative) is Kenneth “Ken” Collin Williams. 

I’m still working on some specifics, like the nose, but his design is pretty much there. He’s black has Melungeon ancestry*, as the group is mainly in the Cumberland gap. His eyes are for the Great Smoky Mountains, supposed to be a dark blue-ish grey. I have no reason for his hair, I was just trying to play around with something that looked good. I know he probably looks too skinny here, but it’s ‘cause she’s supposed to have a more angular jaw and pointed chin, (and some nice cheekbones) but he does have a good gut and thick thighs. Other wise I’m not sure of his body type. He’s average height, like 5′10-11′. He has a great voice and his uncanny ability to mimic and do impressions rival Jimmy Fallon. He’s a pretty devout Baptist. Right now he works in a guitar store, in Nashville or Memphis. It does all sorts of instruments, but he mainly repairs, and sometimes makes, guitars.

His shirt was supposed to be orange for University of Tennessee, but it turned out burnt orange like for UT Austin. OTL Kept it ‘cause honestly I love the color

*(yes, Melungeons are tri-racial, but Ken genetically has more African heritage than European or Native American. Think if he had one parent with just African heritage, and the other was Melungeon, or also a mix of black and Melungeon.)

Well you were supossed to be able to plausibly be interpreted as platonic w/ some tension . . . I don’t think that worked out.

So finally properly drew the shorter half of one of my top bro-/otps, TN. His first name’s Kenneth, ‘n I’mma need all my will power not not have his last name be Ryman. His color palette is new, it’s looked way too much like Juan’s in the past. Still got some design issues, but I think it’s getting close to solidifying. He’s a lot like Juan in being cocksure and pigheaded. At the same time Ken has a more laid-back manner (and probably more real level-headedness), but is more showy than Juan in ways of appearance. I’ve been thinking of him working at a place that does guitar repairs, customizations, and such. 

Not 100% sure what’s going on in this drawing, but I got a pretty good idea and invite y’all to use your imaginations.
