We're a multifandom, oc-friendly, weekend discord rp server with events every other week. Join us Friday, March 30th, for the start of our anniversary event! There will be villains! There will be heroes! THERE WILL BE CONFLICT MANAGEMENT - whatever that means. Come hop into the fun!

Server opens at 6pm edt on Fridays and closes at 12am edt on Mondays.

Some Time in October [open]

Logan set down his armload of wood, settling the cut logs atop the shoulder-high stack to dry. Brushing dirt and wood slivers from his hands, he leaned back to survey the overcast sky. Northwestern woods were temperamental at this time of year, and while a cold drizzle wouldn’t do him any lasting harm, topping his stockpile with wet wood would only be asking for trouble.

A strong breeze shook the treetops all along the little valley, pulling darker clouds over the horizon into view. That settled it.

Logan pulled a heavy tarp over the wood stack, kneeling down to secure it. Halfway through the motion, the man paused, his head turning slightly. The breeze had not quite passed, but there was no mistaking it. Something had stirred in the woods behind him.

Slowly, casually, Logan stood and made his way around to the door of the cabin. He stepped into the shadowy interior and quickly reappeared, the long dark barrel of a hunting rifle preceding him. Silently, he crouched at the corner of the cabin and began to scan the woods.
