Tatiana became Sobek's Avatar when she was on the brink of death from cancer. He saved her life in exchange for performing his tasks for the rest of her days. She was only eighteen. In pursuit of understanding this spirit that now follows her around, she studied history and Egyptology in college - but quickly fell into black market trading and doing dirty work for even dirtier men. Sobek is a god that only steps in when things have truly and utterly gone beyond hope for mankind. He is on the brink of giving up on them, but because of the Avatar he has grown so attached to, he still has a shred of hope.
