       it was too early in the morning to care about what his hair looked like, he was just going to get it messy throughout the day with the training he had to go through anyway. normally he would be better at keeping his hair in pristine shape, but with all the aches he felt all over his body--the young man just wanted to let it go for now.

       but when aoi spoke about wanting to brush it out, zenitsu would just let out a breath as he took a seat when it was offered to him.

              "go for it, not sure what good it's going to do with what today's going to bring me though.."

Izuku blinks, shock overtaking his expression. He really wasn't expecting that, his eyes already shining with unshed tears. He stared down at his bowl of rice, head bowed in the attempt to hide it. He cleared his throat a couple of times, not really trusting himself to form words.

"You...um." Izuku's voice cracked. "You mean that?"

It was the only thing that made sense. He'd never really had someone tell him before; until his Mom. Since she was gone, it didn't really...make sense. He's just here at the Butterfly Mansion for now until he's well enough to try his hand at forging.

"I...don't know how true that is. But thank you for saying." He struggled to voice out, sniffing hard and wiping his eyes harshly in the attempt to cover the tears, trying to take another bite of rice. "I'll, um...try and remember that." Self confidence wasn't his strong suit. But if he can help others, maybe that might be true one day.

"Gyah!" it was clear he wasn't exactly expecting company; green orbs snapping open and picking up his head from the moutain of paperwork. Crap, had he been caught?! He'd felt a bit woozy so closed his eyes for a second, ignoring the pale cheeks for the most of the way.

"Oh, crap...sorry!" Scrubbing crust from his eyes with one hand, he was quick to straighten up and offer a smile. "Uh, did you need help with anything...?" If he changed the subject, was he able to avoid the point he looked like shit? He wasn't prepared to stop for the day yet! Even though hot springs sounded tempting, he wanted to get a bit more ideas written down, or...anything.

"You...won't tell anyone you saw that, right?" His eyes looked like he was begging. "I really don't want to have to stop early. Please?"

i fear grace ever really has days where he's got 'nothing important to do' until he's living on erid, but on his off-days as a teacher, he would usually spend the day finishing up lesson plans and labs for the week, grading assignments to be handed back the following week, real boring stuff like that. he does, however, like to take some time to go to the beach when he can, not necessarily to swim, but just to sit on the shore and watch the waves, listen to the ocean. it soothes him, having grown up near the great lakes, and it reminds him of home to some extent.

on erid, when he's not teaching a class, he can also be found on the shore as well. the ocean, water in general honestly, is extremely calming to him, and the fog makes it especially nostalgic. his life on erid is similar to his life on earth, though anything he did alone on earth, he'll usually do with rocky and/or adrian if they feel like joining him. overall, his free time on erid is spent much the same as his free time on earth, though he does pick up gardening on erid once he can.

Sweat dribbled down Tanjiro's forehead, having to use a stick to keep himself upright. Honestly, when Zentisu asked him the last time he had eaten or showered; he truly didn't have an answer for that. He's very aware that lying wouldn't be an option either; Zenitsu knew him well enough not to mention his face always gave him away.

"I don't...actually remember." He admitted quietly, exhaling a bit. "I've been training." It was a weak excuse even to his own ears. He didn't want to cause worry to his friends either; but he truly didn't feel hungry at the moment. "I...can go and have a bath, so please don't worry!" Tanjiro knows it might not be enough to stop potential worry; but he'd try it anyway.

Mitsuri gave a curious tilt of her head, intrigued by Obanai's words, which made her heart feel warm in her chest. "Does it really?"

She reached out to gently take his hand in both of hers, a soft pink dusting over her face as she smiled at him. It made her happy to know he thought of her, more than she could even say - even if she tried to put it in words, she knew she would only ramble and talk over him. She didn't want to do that.

"Tell me how it all reminds you of me. What makes you think of me so much?"
