Some families got all dolled up to go to the Episcopal church since it was Sunday. On the third floor above, four men work on an ancient sewing machine creating fantasy costumes for kids with glitter fabric, mermaids and princess gowns or short skirts with miniature kiddie bras. They sell them to a shop. I took some of the fabric and made a dress for Alejandra´s new barbie. I went to the stationary booth in the market to buy two boxes of colored chalk so the kids could draw grafitti on the walls of the squat, but the boxes were stolen from the "office", a dirt floored room with a table and a picture clock and an ancient sofa.
