hey, can we talk for a second about how brock turner didn't sexually assault anyone by "dressing up and going into the wrong restroom"? about how the men who are rapists don't (nor have they ever) need(ed) to go out of their way or step out of their comfort zone to assault women? about how this falsely propagated trope of dangerous trans women is masking the under-propagated truth of entitled rapists taking what they want? Brock didn't sexually assault anyone by dressing up as a woman, quite simply, because he didn't have to. Because by doing everything wrong, he still only has his stanford picture plastered all over the internet. I wish my internet presence were as flattering as Brock's. This is rape culture. This is the sad truth that rape is just too easy to commit for rapists to have to go out of their way to put on skirt and go into the wrong bathroom in order to commit a crime. Let's stop blaming the wrong people and fix the actual problem.
