Minneapolis: Day after Elections - National Day of Protest for a People's Mandate
Wednesday, November 4 - 6:00 p.m.
301 Cedar Ave. S., Minneapolis
Hosted by Twin Cities Coalition for Justice 4 Jamar
Day after the elections - Get ready to fight!
No matter the outcome, we need a People’s Mandate to address the triple pandemic of racism, COVID-19, and recession. We want Trump out. But even if that happens, we cannot stop the fight. Our response on November 4 can set the tone for struggle for the next four years.
We don’t know the outcome. But we are READY to say EITHER, 1. “Don’t let Trump steal the election!” or 2. “Fight Trump and everything he stands for!” or 3. “A Biden win will not give the freedom we demand!”
Trump out! Power to the people!
The Twin Cities Coalition for Justice for Jamar (TCC4J) is uniting the National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression for a U.S.-wide day of protest Nov. 4 around the following demands. --Stop Police Crimes! Community Control of the Police --Extend and Expand Economic Relief for the Unemployed --Stop Evictions and Utility Shut-offs --Health Care for All --Stop the Racist Attacks on Immigrants and Harassment of Asian Americans --Fight the Pandemic! --Don’t let Trump steal the election!
On Nov. 4, join TCC4J and a growing list of BLM, anti-police crime, labor, immigrant rights, environmental, youth, student and anti-war groups to demand a People’s Mandate!

Last night, in a coordinated attack, Facebook disabled the accounts of several U.S. leftist activists and groups, including those of us calling to Occupy the Streets if the November election is stolen. This will not stop us.
Stay tuned for our response and continue to spread the word about planned protests and defense against voter suppression.

If the November election is stolen, occupy the streets
If the election is stolen, from Nov. 3, 2020, through Jan. 20, 2021, it will be time for us to be in the streets in such large numbers that the system cannot run. Call in sick! Occupy the streets! March and picket at Federal Buildings, banks and businesses, and other suitable targets in your city, state or county. Organize civil disobedience. Urge your union to prepare for sickouts and strikes.
Regardless of the outcome, we must continue to press for the demands that people need and want — Black Lives Matter, stopping police and ICE terror, health care for all, cancel rent and stop evictions and foreclosures, workers’ rights and safety on the job, jobs or income for all, no war or sanctions.

Los Angeles: Car Caravan Protest! Trump MUST GO!
Saturday, November 7 - 9:00 a.m.
Gather at MacArthur Park (UCLA Labor Center), 675 S Park View St, Los Angeles
Trump has lost the election but he is refusing to admit defeat. Join this CAR CARAVAN to demand that he recognize the election result and that he admits defeat.
This action is NOT in support of Biden and the Democratic Party. It is to demand that Trump accept defeat and to call for our communities to organize themselves.
History has proven that BOTH parties are guilty of:
Imperialist wars around the world
ICE raids & the deportation of millions
Keeping our children in cages
Supporting police terrorism in our communities
Exploiting the working class
We clearly understand that under a Biden administration we can expect all of those things to continue unless we organize ourselves to stop him. We cannot be fooled by the Democrats who have always made false promises to our communities to get our votes but after EVERY election, they stab us in the back.
Both the Republicans AND the Democrats only serve the interests of the rich! Only an organized community can defend itself from constant attacks from both parties!
In response to the continued attacks against our communities, we are NOT just calling on people to march but to also organize with us to build COMMUNITY SELF-DEFENSE.
Help us build "Comités de Resistencia" in every neighborhood. We will organize to protect our communities from ICE kidnappings/deportations, police terrorism, attacks on street vendors and any other attacks against the people in our communities including Black, Brown, Indigenous, LGBTQI+, EVERYone! More information about this effort will be shared at this protest so please join us!
We ask that EVERY participant wear a mask and follow safety protocols as best as possible. Let's all work together to fight this colonial virus.
