Dean didn't know where it all went wrong. One minute he was a hunter and then the next, he was in the Marines. Did his dad really rub off on him that badly? Sure that huht with Jo a few years ago was hard, seeing as how it had killed her, but Dean didn't think it was bad enough to leave the hunting business and follow in his dad's footsteps of going into the Marines. Then he met Sophia. She was amazing, just like how Jo was. Plus, she was amazing with the twins and they absolutely loved her.

Dean never should've mentioned that he had gotten with someone because the higher ranks saw that as "Hey, that's someone who can watch the kids" and now Dean was in his room, packing his dufflebag to be flown out tomorrow morning. How was he going to tell Sophia? His own kids? Dean had only been a recruiter for 2 years before he met Sophia and he just had to open his big mouth about him dating someone. Would be have to pull the twins from their daycare? Dean's mind waa spinning until hewas pulled from his thoughts when he heard his bedroom door open.

"Just because you can doesn't mean you should, Emma. I thought I raised you better." Dean sighed either his arms crossed, obviously disappointed in her, but not angry. "If it was in self defense, then that's fine. You're not in trouble. If I know anything about you, though and how you have my temper, I hope and pray you didn't do it to start a fight." It was hard raising the twins by himself, especially with them being in high school now.

When the principal and his son walked into the office, his face dropped when he saw the principal tighten her grip on his arm. "You can let him go. I'll deal with James when we get home," he murmured, casting a quick glance at James before looking back at Emma and then back at the principal. "Did Emma start the fight or did someone else instigate her?"

Emma cocked an eyebrow, taking a seat at a stool next to the table. “I know, I brought you the snacks. Would it help to talk through the problem?” She knew her boss had her habit of working until he literally dropped and if she could do something to prevent him from exhausting himself, she would.

He turned an eye on her and snorted softly. “One, you brought some snacks. I have more snacks than you’ll ever be able to find, thank you. And two, last I checked sugar you weren’t exactly up on the fine details of mechanical stuff on this level. I mean, I’ve been talking about it, but it’s not really your area, right?”

“Hi, can I just say that your ass looks, amazing in those jeans.” James held out his hand for the man at the bar to shake. “I’m James.”

“Um...” Peter looked the other male up and down. He wasn’t used to someone being this forward with him. “I’m Peter... Peter Parker.”

   “Poppy, hey,” Jace said in greeted as she opened his door. He hadn’t expected her to be there at the Institute, but he certainly wasn’t complaining. “Is everything okay? Or are you just here to visit me?” He was still new to this whole ‘being in an actual relationship’ thing. It was different, for sure. Jace patted the empty spot on his couch next to where he sat. “Get over here,” he said gently with a smile. “I want to see you.”

          Anna looked up when she heard the sweet - sickeningly sweet - tone of voice, her green eyes catching the sight of the blonde Omega female that she resented with passion as she gripped onto Nolan’s arm. Ana had to look away from the flirting pair, trying hard not to let it show how hurt she was by the man’s choice of the flavor of the week.

          “And here I thought you had more brain than that.” The Omega commented simply as the Alpha walked to the bar to order himself and his date some drinks. Without another word Anna placed the two glasses of alcohol in front of him, turning to look away from Nolan, wanting to hide her hurt expression on her face.
