You ever make a character or element for your story that you think is totally original but then you see it like 5 other times and you get super anxious people are gonna think you stole their idea/copied their stuff but you promise you weren't at all? And yet you gaslight yourself -- what if you diD? You've never seen those things before so you couldn't pOssibly have done that... unless you forgot. You copycat. You're stealing their shine, aren't you? You're not original at all! Oh god what if they come to my house and kill me or they doxx & harass me just because they get the wrong idea- or what if I aM wrong? Maybe I should change the element before they find out about it, then they can't hurt me... Change it until it becomes unrecognizable. Then the cycle begins again. You see something else it looks like. But you realize... it's okaY to be inspiRed by stuff or come to the same conclUsion as people... as long as its not one for one the same... I mean, it's original because you made it not because it's never been thought of before. Go wild, do what you want! (As long as you're not hurting others)
