LUSH product reviews
Hi lovelies! Today I will be reviewing 3 LUSH products I recently bought (BB Seaweed face mask, Ocean Salt scrub, and Jumping Juniper Shampoo). Let’s get started!
1) BB Seaweed Face Mask This mask was my first from LUSH, and I wanted to try it because I have tried a LUSH cleanser before and really liked it. This mask was a good one to try as my first one. It is pretty moisturizing, but not super oily. It’s very slightly exfoliating so it leaves skin really soft. Most importantly, ingredients such as aloe vera and rose petals make this mask great because it helps to reduce redness. While this mask didn’t do much for acne other than reduce redness, it made my face feel soft, bright, and happy. I would recommend it to all skin types, and it is a great mask to first start with! 2) Jumping Juniper Shampoo This shampoo is in bar form, which is definitely unique. It lathers REALLY well, better than any shampoo I’ve had. It also smells really nice, but it’s not very strong when you put it in your hair. This shampoo made my hair shinier and also less frizzy, which are 2 things I really want in a shampoo. Overall, I love this product. It also helps a lot with oily hair, but it also doesn't over dry. Because of this, I would recommend it to anyone with oily to normal hair. Rate: 10/10
3) Ocean Salt Face & Body Scrub This scrub doesn’t smell great, but I don’t mind too much as it’s on my face, so I’m not smelling it all day. This scrub can be used on your face and body, which I think is really good. It’s a nice exfoliater, and it doesn’t over dry skin or strip it. I use this once a day and apply moisturizer after. I found it made my face pretty soft, but honestly, it didn’t do that much for my skin, as I find my skin doesn’t really need a lot of exfoliating. However, if you have flaky skin, this could help you a lot. Overall, I didn’t hate the product, but I wouldn’t buy it again because I think it cost too much and didn’t do enough for my skin type.
