sooo annie, dear. these two might potentially know each other?? sally and stephen work together and might possibly be friends. so maybe john met stephen at nick’s house or something like that?? or maybe stephen had sally and john over for dinner one night? he looooves to have dinner parties. thoughts?

annie! so I thought I’d just continue our convo over here w/ these two to make it easier? I was thinking about why they broke up (since we were both okay with both options), and I think that it was probably John who broke up with Drea???? B/c I think she dated Ren before him and I think that she probably ended up breaking up with ren b/c she allowed him to be a distraction, so going into this relationship, she was determined not to let John be the same and so it was probably ridiculously clear that he wasn’t her main priority at all and so maybe he broke it off???? thoughts???

okay so ward kinda got dragged into fake dating sally, haha. idk how much you know about this, but basically the bowers mom was going on about she wanted to see sally w/ a boy and basically sally ended up saying that she had one to make her mom happy and ward was right there and she was like “this is him!!!!” and basically it was not thought out at all haha. anyway, i know kate wanted to basically ask you if you think john would know about this or not? idk if she’s gotten a chance to chat with you yet or not, but basically she was wondering what john’s opinion would be on sally fake dating ward to make their mom happy? b/c obviously sally would know how he would react and if he would go along with it, she would tell him, but if he would tell her not to lie to their mom, then she wouldn’t???

Hi again <333 So Sally is one of Sasha’s best friends which means these two would probably know each other. Sasha loves to read and basically lives in her own world and casts everyone as characters in books, haha. And I could see her really getting along well with John so maybe these two are actually friends in their own right?

ANNIE I’M AWESOME AND JUST REALIZED JOHN IS SALLY’S BROTHER. That only took, like, a month. *facepalm* Well, anyway, because of that, I’m sure these two have met?? Nick considers Sally practically family and I’m thinking he’d think well of John because of that. Also John works for Will’s lawncare business?? Because Nick had Will do work for him and now I’m thinking that might have been because of John. Maybe Sally is actually the one who recommended Will’s business? Or it could’ve been the other way around and been before Sally was working for Nick and John happened to meet Nick and said he was a nice guy and told Sally about the job? I don’t know. Now I’m just spouting stuff, haha. Thoughts?

because i too am trash at responding to messages, here I appear!!!

John is literally the sweetest dude. i can’t handle this rn. bABY BOY IN LOVE WITH HIS BESTIE BUT RESPECTING HER BOUNDARIES OH MAN.

On the other hand, because of that....

Ginny has literally no clue whatsoever that he has a massive crush on her. Like absolutely no idea. (which is hilarious bc oh how the turn tables, with Ginny in Will’s place now. ahahahahahahah)

But I think she seriously appreciates that John has always been there for her. How long do you think they’ve been friends? Was he friends with her pre-her father going to jail? Or more recently?

Bc I could see maybe Ginny having a seriously rough time when she had to drop out of college and everything. She was surviving, I think, but it was pretty much just survival for a good few months for her. And she could totally have used someone kind like John around to help hold her up when things were getting bad and she was having to learn how to live without her high-society security blanket anymore.

I kept meaning to reply to your message but haha that never happened, but anyway! So, I feel like Kara’s lovelife, over all, has been just one big mess and most of her relationships have ended horribly (mostly b/c she ends up dating the wrong kind of guys haha). And more recently I think she’s just been doing meaningless flings b/c that’s easier and she ends things before anyone gets hurt. 

So I can see a couple different things for how their relationship ended (altho none of them are at all set in stone, so if you have something else in mind, please let me know!)

a) they dated kinda recently for a short period, when kara suddenly broke it off mainly out of habit vs anything being wrong and by the time she realized that john was different than the other guys she’s been with (ie actually a nice guy vs an ass) it was too late and he’s already moved onto ginny (whether or not she knows this idk)

b) they dated a long time ago (possibly in like high school??) and they just decided to end things b/c of college, etc. etc. 

c) i feel like there was a c but i can’t remember it now

Anyway thoughts???? Also, I can see Kara doing something stupid that breaks them up (not that she would do anything like cheat on him, but I feel like things just naturally go badly for Kara haha)
