I really like math, and have taken a lot of extra math courses outside my degree
I deal anxiety and depression, so I might write some posts about studying with mental illness

my username comes from the name of a genus of diatoms (siliceous phytoplankton)
i have been vegan since 2016, vegetarian since 2014
I love to cook, go on hikes, cycle and crochet!
What I’m working on
I'm currently doing research with a former professor of mine in marine geochemistry.
I’m also an equity representative of the earth science student society, and am currently organizing some exciting EDI stuff within the dept
