Sneaking out of the morgue was easy when one had practice. Finding the power-cells.. now *that* had been a challenge. Once the last of the glowing tubes had been smashed, Mina made a quick exit out the window.
Entirely unaware of the mayhem their unwanted guest had caused, Molly only continued to wander down the hall toward Cabal’s laboratory, her nose stuck in whichever book she’d managed to dig up at the time (this one, apparently, was on the engineering of steam power). If she was going to be forced in enclosed quarters with Cabal, then she wanted a means of ignoring him as best as she could. In her chest, the power core to her mechanical heart had begun to dim, due for replacement. It was no concern, however; Cabal had several to spare, it appeared, and a new cell would be just the boost she needed in her mood and spirit.
The crunch and splintering of glass under her boots was cause for concern, however, and Molly frowned down at the laboratory floor to investigate. What she found quickly drained the blood from her face, and she knelt in the mess, the book falling with a clap onto the chaos.
“No...no, no, no, no...” Trembling fingers plucked a large piece of what was once her life force from the floor. “Cabal!” She cried, and again over her shoulder with panic beginning to well within her.
“Cabal! Get in here! Please!”
