would you car if i told you i made a hallucinatory concept inside of v's head when he was being created under hypnosis shaped like a pinkish ocelot in a nurse uniform that came as a result of ocelot and the other working nurses' concepts fusing inside v's head that's unclear whether it's metaphorical and even if it actually is ocelot anymore. and it was originally just ocelot as a sexy nurse but then i had to be pretentious about it and it's a whole thing. here he is

early days ocelhira used to duke it out like crazy in the ring. most fighters don't have many negative emotions they bring to their fights, but these two use the opportunity to beat the shit out of eachother to the fullest. did they calm down a little after kaz became disabled? yes. did they stop? fuck no

paz is also here :) she's around. she does stuff. she probably knows more about v than she lets on

ocelot and v occasionally spar. ocelot pulls no punches, and v gets his ass kicked hard. outer heaven has medics on site, but v prefers to tend to his injuries by himself in his flat's bathroom. although ocelot is very insistent on caring after v after their scuffles, and v finds it hard to refuse despite feeling uncomfortable. dunno what's up with that

aaand a non-canon stupid thing. kaz tries to turn a profit any way he can, and v gets a bizarre surge of merch ala mgsv paz (seriously though what's up with that)

What are V's thoughts on Ocelot now? I'm guessing he gets beat up by the old man everytime so it's gotta be frustrating... And the flirting that would have made me fall in love at first sight but probably makes V uncomfortable lol

v is in constant conflict with himself about everything in general, his feelings on ocelot no exception. while v can admire his prowess, ocelot's interest in him remains a giant mystery — he guesses it has something to do with big boss. first and foremost, they're sparring partners, teacher and student. everything else beyond that, v prefers not to dwell on too much.

he learned he's no match against ocelot pretty quickly, even when ocelot steps down to his level. and yes, he gets frustrated, especially when ocelot is visibly having fun with him. and he has a lot of fun putting a rowdy, self-assured dog in his place. however much that should terrify v, it only serves to make him try to get better every time just to wipe that smirk off his face and show he's worthy.

what they do outside of fighting... well. that's even more confusing. v thought ocelot has plenty of bed partners (which he learned involuntarily...), so what's with the constant suggestions? he never pushes, never pulls, but always reaches his hand out, waiting for v to take it himself. v, however frustratingly confusing ocelot's advances may be, finds himself more and more inclined to give in as time goes by, just because it's something, just because ocelot pressing into his bruises feels infinitely more rewarding than anything a night club or a brothel can offer. yet there's also hesitation — of course, what v does and who he sleeps with is none of big boss' business, but... he can't help feeling like he's doing something wrong every time. with ocelot, even more so.

at its core, what ocelot does, really, is give v a goal more achievable than scaling a colossal mountain that is big boss' approval. something to show v he's making progress, to stop him from boiling alive in his own frustration when he gets nothing in return for his devotion. someone to take care of v when big boss isn't around, just so he doesn't run away and finds himself a new home.
