Mystic's OC (from the WIP Supernova Initiative): Gabi Ophyria is a 19/20-year-old girl, who was raised by a former (now retired) assassin, who adopted her as his daughter when she was a 6-year-old child due to... complicated spoilery reasons. She has a fiery temper, a big heart, a strong sense of justice, and is unafraid to get into fights/brawls when the need arises - overall, she's very much her adoptive father's daughter. Gabi is around 5,4ft to 5,5ft and is actually rather muscular. She has brown hair, which she occasionally streaks red or bright pink - but never fully. Her eyes are also brown, and she has a round face - she also usually carries some form of goggles to protect her eyes while racing around in her hoverbike. She usually wears practical clothes in a style similar to our Earth's 'grunge', with a futuristic/cyberpunk twist - but she also often has bright, girly accessories that she is very proud of. (I showed an idea of her usual outfit in this post!). She is good friends with her adoptive older sister, even though the girl is quite the polar opposite of her personality - being a shy, soft-hearted girl who prefers to help others through science than out on the frontlines where there's conflict. She's also brash, proud, and oftentimes painfully stubborn. She is also a decent artist and often uses her art as a form of rebellion.
ykw I actually spun the OC wheel and while the answer would be interesting or possibly entertaining, I have a more burning OC that's like...my go-to for interacting with other OCs because he's my favorite little chaos goblin and I have a burning desire to know how he'd interact with some of ya'lls OCs SOOOOOO
My OC: Rod is a scrappy 5-foot-nothing gremlin (not literally, he's half-human and half-SPOILER) fully of assholery neutral chaos, a Trickster with capital "T". He's not without empathy or sympathy, he just employs them at opportune times. He's earned the title King of Thieves and will swing it at liberty because no one can stop him from stealing anything. And he knows it. For him, stealing is never about "can" or "can't", it's timing, luck, and skill. And with the magic he has access to, nothing is out of his reach. He's sarcastic, he's chaotic, he's incredibly smart and he uses everything he hears, sees, or knows to his advantage, whatever that advantage might be. He's always got some plan in the works, and while he'll mostly ignore people that get in his way because they're not worth the effort, he cannot stand megalomaniac tyrants and will take time out of his busy schedule to absolutely destroy their house of cards and anybody that's connected to them and their doings. It's not really from a sense of justice, as he thinks justice itself is a term the self-righteous throw around to make themselves feel better, it's almost always for his own reasons. His main weakness, really, is puzzles and knowledge. You can get him to go almost anywhere if you can convince him that he'll learn something he doesn't already know.
How Rod and Gabi would Interact: omg he'd make so much fun of her. He'd be annoyed at how stubborn she is, he'd think it would be hilarious to make her lose her temper, likely right up until she was ready to punch him in the face. He would, however, appreciate the overall feel of her look (at least the grunge) even as he mocked it. He would definitely come out the gate with it, but ultimately he'd chill the more he got to see of her character; his understanding of the world means that he'd rather encourage those with a sense of justice and big hearts even if he doesn't have those himself, because if you lose those players on the field eventually all you have left is neutral and power-hungry. Those willing to fight for/help others are needed as much as those who only look out for themselves. So he'd likely wind up trying to be encouraging and largely leave her alone...after relentlessly harassing and antagonizing her for hours on end because he finds it entertaining. I doubt they would get along.

Hullo I wish to know more about Rod’s powerset. What can he do? Are there powers he relies on more and some he reserves for when they’re truly needed, or will he use everything as the moment strikes?
I have gone and turned the character interaction tag you gave me last month into a whole fanfic and I need to figure out what this guy is doing.
First of all...A fanfic!?!??? Of my little guy!!???!?! I am so intrigued👀👀👀 (completely positive)
For the actual question: At it's most basic, his power is that he can influence the potential of an item so long as he knows the properties of said item (most of which he's memorized at this point and he's always doing research and learning and testing and playing etc). His favorite tactic is using ordinary items, but it can be anything that he can touch which honestly can make him a pain to fight; Things like silly string can become intensely powerful adhesive, can increase the durability of hardwood products, Kevlar fabric is woven into his coat so that when he activates it his coat is bullet-proof.
"Potential" in this case also covers things like causing lithium-ion batteries to malfunction and catch fire, turning frozen items into liquid into gaseous states and vice-versa, electronics and mechanical items can malfunction, locks can break, threads can snap, etc.
This is the magic he relies on the most as it flusters people easily and is the most accessible to him.
He can also make unlimited copies of himself (when a copy takes too much damage they pop and turn into water, and all the memories of the popped clone transfer to all the ones still living), his top-hat makes portals (includes into other dimensions/realms), his jacket pockets lead to a infinite holding space (bigger on the inside).
He tries to keep his jacket and his hat abilities a mystery, and at one point one of him convinced someone that it needed six hours to recharge between uses. Otherwise his philosophy is to use the right tools for the right situation. If he can get away with not using any magic at all he'll do it, and if not he'll start with the least amount needed and go up from there.
