You didn't really supply evidence. Of it being profit motivated. Or what/how going this route is profitable.

I'd really be interested in what you have on it. I'm not saying anything negative. You're not stupid. Anonymity is fine, but just saying what you said that doesn't do much in convincing me to lean your way.

Just "what the hell". Not very explanatory.

The way I see it is:

Where's the CDC gonna make that profitable margin? anti-mask money now from the anti mask people finally getting their way? They just going to donate to them like audio church in the baskets?

Or the government is gonna say, well you're not putting up mandates, people are happier, so here's some funding? Thanks.?

Or what, vaccines and pharmaceutical industry? They're paying them to do it so they can give us vaccines for 50 bucks? They've been free thus far. They going to change that today too?

Or maybe the funeral industry is going to give them kickbacks for the number of dead people and funerals that'll go up?

Or the hospitals for getting money for intubation and rooms and meds, insurance companies?

All of the above?

Every hypothetical example I gave are off the cuff, nothing backing up any of it. Just throwing out what you might feel is going on. But I offer no proof evidence etc. They're basically happy list of conspiracy theories unless you can tell me or show me "where, why, what" of this profit motive for the CDC doing an about face on covid guidelines.

1.5 years ago some people said the mandates and guidelines were for profits too? "They're getting paid to do this."

Because the answer to me seems pretty simple. They gave up. Most people have given up largely on it too.

Regardless of beliefs in ludicrous micro chips tracking us because Bill Gates has a hard on or just the mundane regular common sense about spreading diseases.

People just lost interest. They gave up.

It's like the Joker in Dark Knight,

"If, tomorrow, I tell the press that, like, a gang banger will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it's all "part of the plan". But when I say that one little old mayor will die, well then everyone loses their minds."

Soldiers and gang bangers dying is a thing we're used to. Not assassinations of mayors etc.

Same with covid now. People have gotten used to it. It doesn't have the impact it did in 2020. We have vaccines now, the number of takers doesn't matter because it's lessened the fearful severity of it in the public consciousness. So we're treating it like we do everything, it gets pushed back down the list.

The problem with liking weird, niche bands is that occasionally a weirder, nicher band will pop up with the same name and a wildly different sound and really throw you for a loop
