The night was alive with neon lights and the rhythmic pulse of bass-heavy music that made even the walls of the bar tremble. It was the kind of place where people came to escape their worries, leaving their troubles at the door along with their inhibitions. Tonight, though, something—or rather, someone—extraordinary graced the bar.
Archangel Gabriel strolled in with a smile that could light up the heavens. Dressed in a crisp white button-up shirt with the sleeves casually rolled to his elbows, dark jeans that hugged his legs in just the right way, and boots that clicked confidently on the floor, he looked like he belonged, even though he was anything but ordinary. His usually golden locks were a shocking shade of cotton candy pink, standing out like a beacon under the bar’s dim lights.
"Human fashion really is something else," Gabriel mused as he slid onto a barstool, his radiant blue eyes scanning the crowd. People couldn’t help but stare at him—not just because of his hair but because of the aura he carried. It wasn’t every day you saw someone who seemed to glow from within.
“Hey, Pinky, what’s your poison?” the bartender asked with a grin, clearly charmed by Gabriel’s unusual hair and dazzling smile.
Gabriel tilted his head, considering the question. “I’ll have one of those colorful drinks,” he said, pointing to a rainbow cocktail someone at the end of the bar was nursing. “It looks delightful.”
The bartender chuckled and whipped up the drink, sliding it across the counter to him. Gabriel took a sip and immediately beamed. “Oh, this is marvelous! It’s like drinking joy.”
Within minutes, Gabriel had become the center of attention. People flocked to him, drawn by his infectious energy and effortless charm and beauty. He told stories—heavily edited for mortal ears—about places he’d visited and people he’d met, his melodic laughter cutting through the din of the bar like a bell. He danced with strangers, his movements so fluid and graceful that it was impossible to look away. Even the grumpiest patrons found themselves grinning as they watched him.
Unbeknownst to Gabriel, a shadowy figure at the edge of the bar had been watching him intently. The figure leaned closer as Gabriel returned to his drink, slipping something small and shimmering into the glass when the disguised Archangel wasn’t looking…

Archangel Gabriel hummed as he descended the winding staircase leading to Heaven's Records Department. His brother Michael, always the diligent soldier, had left a mountain of paperwork that needed filing, and Gabriel, ever the messenger, had volunteered to bring it down. He’d also had his reasons, one of which happened to be waiting for him in the endless rows of ethereal filing cabinets.
He finally arrived, scrolls neatly stacked in his arms, and glanced around until his gaze landed on a familiar figure. There, meticulously organizing the latest celestial decrees, was Stephen, the seraphim in charge of records and, in Gabriel’s mind, easily the most radiant soul in Heaven.
"Stephen! Presents!" Gabriel’s voice sang out, his wings fluttering slightly in excitement.
Tonight, Gabe was a cute light brunet, his drink was halfway to his lips when he heard that familiar voice — smooth, teasing, and impossible to ignore. His head snapped up, eyes widening, grin spreading instantly across his face.
“Sitri?!”
In a blur of excitement that definitely didn’t match his station, Gabriel practically launched himself across the small space between them, wrapping his arms around Sitri’s neck and jumping right into his arms like he belonged there.
“Oh please, don’t play it cool,” he laughed against Sitri’s cheek, eyes sparkling with mischief. “I thought you were still busy pretending you didn’t miss me.” He leaned back just enough to give the disguised Goetia a playful, almost wicked grin.
“What’s up, Princess?” he echoed, voice dripping with amused flirtation. “Well, apparently my night just got a whole lot better.”
He tapped Sitri’s nose lightly with one fingertip.
“Now tell me — are you here to cause trouble, steal me away, or both?”

Morning light filtered through the golden expanse of Heaven, bathing the vast halls in a warm, celestial glow. Soft hymns of praise floated in the air like the whisper of a gentle breeze. Archangel Gabriel, the Messenger of God, walked with quiet grace through the shimmering corridors, his sandalled feet making no sound upon the radiant marble floors.
He paused just outside the grand entrance to the Throne Room, an expanse so immense it seemed to stretch into infinity. Gabriel took a moment to adjust his toga—a pristine garment of flowing white and gold that draped across his slim frame. With a practiced hand, he straightened the fabric over his shoulders and ensured the golden sash rested perfectly at his waist. Every detail mattered in the presence of the Almighty. He didn’t mind messing with Michael every now and then, but their Father was something different altogether. No exposed belly and dyed hair here.
Taking a deep breath, Gabriel stepped forward. The doors to the Throne Room opened with a soft, harmonious hum, revealing a vast chamber filled with the essence of peace and power. At its center, upon a throne of light that defied mortal comprehension, sat the Creator.
Gabriel's heart, though steadfast and true, always fluttered with reverence at the sight of Him. The Almighty’s presence was a convergence of warmth and majesty, His form indescribable yet familiar—a light too bright to gaze upon directly, yet gentle enough to comfort even the most troubled soul.
Gabriel approached, his wings folding neatly behind him, their brilliant white feathers catching the divine light. He bowed low, the movement fluid and reverent, his forehead nearly touching the floor.
"Good morning, Father," Gabriel's voice, soft yet resonant, echoed in the sacred space. "Do You have any messages for me to deliver today?"
Archangel Gadreel floated down from the heavens, his wings a soft shimmer of light, and landed silently next to his twin brother, Gabriel. The fierce warrior angel was doing push-ups, each movement steady and deliberate, his muscular arms rippling with divine strength.
Gadreel, always the playful one, folded his wings and tilted his head, watching for a moment with a smirk. Then, without warning, he perched himself on his twin’s back, crossing his legs as if he were sitting on a cloud.
"Really, Gabby?" Gadreel teased, resting his chin on his hand. "Aren't your arms big enough yet? Don’t blame me when you outgrow your armor. You should have come last night, it was a fun party." Thus explaining why Gad's normally blond hair was multi-colored once again.
"Gabriel...for the love of hell put some clothes on."
Gabriel grinned smugly, his wings flaring for extra dramatic effect. "Luce! My dear fallen brother! Are you seriously telling me to cover up when you’ve spent the last few millennia strutting around Hell like a gothic peacock? Honestly, I’m surprised you even noticed my divine splendor amidst all your leather and flames."
Gabe gestured vaguely at his own radiant, shirtless form. "Besides, this is celestial fashion, darling. It's called artistic liberation. Something you of all people should appreciate. Or are you just jealous because these abs still glow with heavenly perfection?"
Gabe leaned in with a cheeky smirk. "Don’t worry, Luce. I’ll tone it down. Wouldn’t want to outshine your apple-loving aesthetic."
