"You're lovely."
“Obviously you don’t know me very well.”
“Do not ask me to turn from you.”
“I have seen things you wouldn’t believe.” Korgul muttered, carving on a piece of horn for his daughter, “Dominion ships on fire off the coast of High Rock. Blood glitter in the moonlight near the Orsinium Gate.”
“And these things make it hard to be around people. Not just you.” He let the knife drop, point first into soft dirt. “So when I ask you to turn from me, it is not because I hate you. It is because I want to be alone with my mind.”
❝ daughters never grow up. they remain six years old with pigtails & skinned knees forever. ❞
“She will grow up eventually.” He muttered, shaking his head as he pulled the blanket up to Morri’gan’s chin. “She will bring home a man, or a woman. She will build her own home, away from us. She will kill her own enemies, forge her own alliances.”
He bent forward, kissing his daughter on the forehead, standing.
“But I will always remember her as she is now.”
Emotions are Weird [Closed RP Korgul|Caoimhe]
He hadn’t snuck into the Redoubt. That was a start. Inwardly he sighed, knowing that he could have. There were at least ten different points where he knew the guards were sleeping, or weren’t going to come around very much, but that would send the opposite impression of what he wanted to do. He wasn’t here to be here in secret.
He was here to be here, where they knew he was here.
He was there to see her, and he would not habve anyone think he was afraid to see her.
He climbed the stone stair to her home, knocking loudly on the fream of the doorway.
“ Caoimhe?” His voice rumbled, but he didn’t enter. Not yet. “I need to speak with you.”
If they had a kid- Cao and Korgul because what kind of miniature devil would they spawn
Name: Caillainn
Gender: Male
General Appearance: Thick, brutish, with horned brows and gnarled tusks. Feral yellow eyes glow out from under his protruding brow ridge, his hands are large, knuckles thick and calloused, heavily scarred. Dirty red braids crowd around his head in a wiry halo, and slab upon slab of muscle covers his thick frame.
Personality: Contrary to his looks, the mer is extremely quiet and peaceful, never having picked up a weapon in his life. Instead Cai is a farmer, having traveled to more mountainous areas of Tamriel to observe better farming techniques to bring home to his native Reachlands. He takes a great pleasure in helping things grow, and his natural state is calm.
Special Talents: He has the greenest thumb to ever orc. It’s rumoured that with a patch of gravel and some seeds he can bring in a full harvest still.
Who they like better: Korgul, for some strange reason.
Who they take after more: Honestly, neither parent. Caillainn is very much his own person.
Personal Head canon: Cai raises bees at great personal risk, considering he’s pretty allergic to them. His calmness really lends itself to a good relationship with his bees.

27. ♥ Have they had dreams about their partner/the person they are courting?
They are not courting anyone, but the person they like, they have had dreams about.
Sniffles
The little building was wrecked, the raging half-orc growling and snarling in the middle of the structure. His axe was in his hand, dark skin whitened by the tightness of his grip. One of the Reachmen had went to retrieve Cao, and as she burst into the room, Korgul hit his knees, the axe falling out of his hand and clattering across the floor.
His maimed hand held a crumpled scrap of paper, and he grabbed for Cao from his kneeling position, wrapping his free arm around her as he buried his face into her shirt and cried. The tears left his eye hot and flowed freely, great wracking sobs making his shoulders dig into her body as he tried to gain his breath back. Cao managed to tug the letter from his hands, and upon reading it said;
Korgul.
Son.
I don’t know how to tell you this. I believe it would be best to start with the truth. Your grandmother has been sick for a very long time, before you came back to Valenwood. Through numerous medicines and spells, she had been holding on long enough to put some of her affairs in order.
One of those being a desire to meet you. While fighting her about it, you showed up in our lives, hers being brightened by your presence. She loved you very much, and I never want you to doubt that. It was part of the reason she pushed so hard to come to the Tourney, she wanted to see you in your element, in a thing that she could be proud of you in, cheer you on, tell people, ‘That is my grandson’.
And you most assuredly provided that to her. Casna was so proud of you, up until her last moments. She left a trunk here for you, and per her wishes, we haven’t attempted to open it. I know that the road will be hard, and that you may not have the time right away, but please, for your grandmother, your grandfather, and for me... please come home for just a little bit. Pay your respects to your grandmothers spirit.
Please Korgul. I need you. I cannot do this without your strength to hold me up.
With Love,
Sinia.
PS. Your grandfather.... he needs you as well. I cannot help him on my own.
“Still gnawing at that bone, are we?”
“I met someone, on the walk to the Redoubt.”
Korgul muttered, brushing back his sleeping daughters hair. The eyepatch itched, but it meant she didn’t scream as much or be as afraid of him. Standing, he placed Morrigan down on her sleeping pallet, kissing her forehead softly.
He didn’t turn around to look back at Cao, not just yet.
“Morrigan’s blood father is in Skyrim. And he’s lookin' for you, and her.”
