soooo i got all four of my wisdom teeth out today, two of which were impacted. I opted for local anesthesia instead of being put under b/c tbh, David After Dentist, though wildly amusing, is also horrifying 

soooo the actual procedure was pretty dope if not a tad freaky- something like 12 needle stabs to the mouth followed by some loud splitting and drilling and some sewing. i was both fascinated and hyperventilating

fyi, a mouth full of blood is literally so gnarly tasting, like ew. We’ve all tasted small bits of blood before but that is really nothing like this taste... & the smell of drilled teeth is gross as all heck so anyway they prescribed me ocy percs for pain and steroids for inflammation but tbh the pain is not that bad at all .... like i’m only kinda vaguely sore??? & not that swollen. so I’m probs taking none of that b/c opioids are a thing i would like to avoid anyway

also I didn’t feel my lower lip for like 3 hours after, and water kept dribbling down my face when i tried to drink lololll but I can feel again  now so that’s cool
