I drew Luffy today! Look at da baby!!! He’s the best.
Oda Sakura- Sakura Moyou
Mini Sakura Kawaii Sakura
I realise that most people will say that Ayumi is the smallest/shortest in Morning Musume, but did you know that Ayumi is actually taller that Sakura by just over 0.6cm and Sakura is actually 150cm tall (both girls have mentioned these facts in their respective blogs) not 152 as previously thought. Here is a list of Morning Musume's heights in both centimetres and feet and inches from tallest to smallest so you can see where DaaSaku appear on it :) Morning Musume 15 Mizuki Fukumura - 165cm (5ft 4 61/64 inches) Haruna Iikubo - 161cm (5ft 3 25/64 inches) Huruka Kudo - 160cm (5ft ft 2 63/64) Erina Ikuta - 159cm (5ft 2 19/32 inches) Maria Makino - 159cm (5ft 2 19/32 inches) Riho Sayashi - 158cm (5ft 2 13/64 inches) Haruna Ogata - 157cm (5ft 1 13/16 inches) Akane Haga - 156cm (5ft 1 27/64 inches) Miki Nonaka - 155cm (5ft 1 1/32 inches) Kanon Suzuki - 154cm (5ft 5/8) Masaki Sato - 153cm (5ft 15/64) Ayumi Ishida - 150.6cm (4ft 11 19/64 inches) Sakura Oda - 150cm (4ft 11 1/16 inches) Yes, Sakura is the smallest in Morning Musume at the moment, highlighted in today's episode of The Girls Life (Episode 55) thanks to all the girls wearing flat shoes. Normally when they wear heels you can't really tell because the height of the heels they're all wearing varies depending on each girl wearing them so someone who seems taller than someone else can actually be smaller than them ;) TL:DR: Mini Sakura-chan Kawaiiiiiiiii!!!! ^_^
One of the things I love about Oda is that he's not writing for children, or at least not just writing for today's children - he's also writing for the kids that started reading One Piece when it first began. He understands that a really good manga will retain its audience and thus, he's taken that into account. He also takes into account that kids can deal with dark things better than people think.
A lot of people have been saying "What was Oda thinking?! This is a kid's manga!" No, it's not. Not really.
Is it childish at times? Definitely.
Is it aimed for kids to be able to read? Yeah, it is.
But it is also written for adults and the darker aspects of the societies that he shows the audience points to that. He tackles issues that most sweep under the rug and deem too delicate for kids to deal with. He has faith that his readers can and will understand the difference between the lighter and darker sides of his world - to be able to deal with both sides properly.
Someone else said it best when they said that One Piece is an adult manga written for kids to understand.
And people saying that it's gotten darker? No, it hasn't. The first part had Shanks' arm bitten off, Buggy destroying a town, Nami's mother being shot in the head in front of her children, corrupt military forces almost killing a bounty hunter for doing the right thing... to name a few. Let's not forget Zeff eating his own leg to stave off starvation, Nami's trauma and past (dead bodies all around on that battlefield), Kaya being used (and planned to be killed) for her inheritance, as well as a whole host of other horrible situations - all this before the Grand Line.
One Piece has always had dark areas. That's what makes it so great - seeing the darkness that the heroes move through and watching them transform to become the crew we love; overcoming everything horrible in the world. It's what gives us hope and why the manga is just so successful.
So before you wonder how things got so dark, take a look back and remember that it's always been dark. Luffy will bring the light back, just like he always does.
Also, it's a freakin' flashback. You really shouldn't be surprised by now. Or did you forget Nami/Chopper/Robin/Zoro/Usopp/Sanji/Luffy/Brook/Franky's flashbacks as well? Because they really should have prepared you by now.
00; Sato-san! Welcome! /grins and hands you a cupcake/ I hope you like it here!
"Ah! Oda-chan!" Blinking a little, Ayano tilts her head and points to herself. "Eh? For me?!" Grinning happily, she takes the cupcake and nibbles quickly. "Mmm~ Oishiii! Did you make these…?"
what is your aim
/points to huge lavender blinking letters behind her saying “ODACHII"/ Its right there, My friend!
